Craftsman Ratchet???

Hi to all, Happy Thanksgiving!

This is my first posting, and excited to be a part of this forum!

I have an older Craftsman Ratchet that I can not find anything about. It has a catalog number on the label, but the number has been retired or dropped. I just would like to know the proper name of it and the specific use it was designed/made for. Here are two photos, top and side views of the ratchet.
Any help is greatly appreciated!

I should have mentioned that the Sears Craftsman catalog number is 46951.

I have that wrench,it came with several sockets. I'm not sure the specific vehicles it was used on but I believe it was a ratcheting wrench for a fan clutch. Could have been used on belt tensioners too.

That is indeed a wrench for removing fan bolts, works great. I have a near identical Blue Point one. What size socket do you have?

Next to the catalog number there should be a mark like "S" in a circle or "V" or something like that. Tell us what you find....

Its a belt tensioner tool. Most come with a couple different size attachments. Mostly a few sockets and the 3 different square drive ends. 3/8 and 1/2

Yeah, this is an oddball. I kept this, among others, out of the main timeline of the Craftsman Ratchet History Project, but it will get a review eventually, albeit separate from the others.

This is a cool item and when you need it you'll be glad to have it!

Hi and a big thank you for all who have posted replies and help for my question. To answer your reply questions: The socket is a 1/2 in, 6 point (no brand markings at all). There are no other markings by the catalog number (circle r or v) (there is an R in a circle, but of course that is the Craftsman trademark symbol). The later serpentine tools were made by KD for Sears. By the logo, this is easily a 1984 or older tool. Perhaps KD made them back then for Sears too.
