I have a Craftsman 33 gal compressor. I'm thinking of selling it. I see the Cali Air Tools and was thinking of getting the 2HP 10 Gallon for use on the road in an RV.

It would need to do light duty compressor stuff but I would also want it to run off and on the Lug nuts on an F-450 Truck and the Fifth Wheel wheels. Torque value 165 ft lbs.

I have a Snapon 1/2" Impact wrench.

Would this compressor be able to handle that Duty with Milton connectors and Flexzilla 3/8" lines?

You'd be better off getting a cordless impact wrench for that. What other use would have for air on the RV?

Only cordless impact that I have used that was worth bringing home was a Snap-on set.

The Dewalt I had was useless.

I guess the snap on 1/2" would be able to handle 165-200# lognuts but not sure.

Get yourself a http://www.tooltopia.com/ingersoll-rand-w7150-k2.aspx 780 ft.-lb torque. Zips off the nuts from an E450.

Thanx for that, what I would really like would be a cordless system, ala Dewalt or Milwaukee that had all the cordless tools including real impacts. That's what I was hoping when I bought the Dewalt cordless impact since I had a lot of other Dewalt cordless tools and I would only have one battery system. The DFewalt cordless impact was utterly useless. I got rid of it immediately.

If I have one Battery system, the likelihood of having wasted batteries that never gets used is low since you have so many tools that use the same system.

For me, a stand alone cordless impact would end up being very expensive per use, because I would rarely use the impact relatively speaking. But if it could share it's batteries with other tools, that would be awesome.

I just got the California Air Tools 10 gallon compressor. That may suit my needs if it can make my Snapon MG725 make some torque.

I added that IR to my list though, thanx!
