Maybe you better read the rules of this site before you get your azz in a sling. True, you can say whatever you like here, that is until you are banned for it. Of course you probably would not know this being a member for only 4 months.

I have read them and I understand them. In 4 months i have not seen any of them applied to a post on this board, As fare as a "Banning" The worst being a thread lock, which this thread was as much of an issue as every one thinks it is would have happened already.

It's already been said, people are to touchy here some time's and thing s spiral out of had to this every time. Every discussion that some one does not like always ends up like this in less then 2 pages.

Well for thoose that asked for nws im sorry i did not include that, nor do i know how to change the title of the thread, if one of the moderators can add that to the title thats fine wit me. I guess its my fault for assuming that no one would have problems with two beautiful things being photographed together. As well as displaying the outstanding strength and construction of Snap-on boxs.

Don't worry about it, AFAIK there is no way you can change the title of your post, with over 8000 posts here I never found a way to change a title once I submitted it. Besides, you will never please everyone, it's just a simple fact of life. Sometimes you just have to let the chips fall where they may.

I say just be pleased with the fact that the vast majority weighing in appreciated your girls beauty!

A warning in the thread title would help*. ex: **** = Not Safe For Work typically implies either ****** (or nearly so) or something extremely graphic (i.e gross).

* such a warning would help those that wish to avoid stay away & those that wish to view tuned in...

Wether you agree with Daveblank or not, why can't he voice his opinion without the unfounded personal attack?

Why do you think this is a personal attack? I'm not sensitive, and I don't care, but I find his avatar to be mildly racist as well.

Speaking of children, I'd rather them see some **** and ***, than read some of the comments I've read on other threads that are fairly derogatory toward blacks, Asians, Hispanics, etc.

That said, my wife likes the picture of the woman modeling on top of the SO box.

What personal attack? He made a comment about a post and I did as well. How is ether post any different? Should I have drawn up a unflattering caricature of him as a man of the cloth clothing wagging an old gnarled finger saying something puritanical about pictures of girls or the evils of dancing and going blind? I made a one sentence observation that is founded in the fact that he made the post and has the avatar in question. I have never made a comment about anyones avatar before and there is nothing more behind my post. I simply found it funny that he felt the need to comment on a thread that he has a choice in clicking on or not yet has an avatar that some would, by its design and intent, find insulting. Unlike thread selection avatars are unavoidable. I am not in the least bit ruffled about both the tool box adornment or the avatar I found it a bit ironic is all. I'll take pictures of a girl over someone's unasked for political comments on a tool and garage site any day.
