Dave's avatar pic is about as "racist" as a marshmallow. That is possibly THE most overused word in the English language in the last 20 years. Nauseating, really, when you look at what people say is "racist."

Girls and tools are a natural combo. Now that the thread title says "****" I'd say there are zero problems here.

I always thought Dave's avatar was kinda funny myself. The only message I got out of it is being maybe Dave is a republican...not that I care though. :dunno:

In any event, Dave is the only truck dealer we got on the board right now...you guys need to go easy on him so he don't run away.

Good pics. Thanks for posting them 06wt.

This reminds me of the old Snap-On "girlie clocks." For those of you that don't remember them, they were very nice wood clocks with women on them. Snap-On used to give them away until (as I understand it) some woman sued or threatened to sue the company because she thought they were sexist.

One of the owners of the JD dealership I was at in Kansas, had me take down my Snap on calenders because she was offended.

I used to have 4 or 5 of the clocks, and at least that many of the mugs.

When I was in college on of the female students rather than taking offense, decided to put up pictures of attractive men on her toolbox, don't ask me how, but somehow all of our toolbox pictures became an issue after that. My guess is some closet homophobe blew the whistle to some higher ups.

D00d, the drama. I did not say I was offended by your or any other avatar. I have never griped about anything political posted on the GJ. I never said anything about you. "...mildly racist political avatar". Them is real harsh fighting words!

Believe what ever you like about whoever you like it is not my business one way or the other. IIRC this is a tool and shop site, why have politics involved? As I said I don't care one way or the other. If you feel the need to have a political avatar have at it but be ready to take comment on it and not fume all night hurt to the bone as you said.:headscrat I am out of this thread.
