Wired up a new outlet and a 24" T8 two lamp fixture under the cabinets above the workbench. I bought a pair of bulbs that are 2700K but I think they look too dim. I need some 4100 or 5000K bulbs instead.

Replaced the fuel line on my snowblower, added a fuel filter, and started to put it back together. I still need to finish putting it back together and adjust the carb. Then I need to start winterizing all the lawn equipment. Hopefully that'll get done this weekend.

I didn't do a damn thing last night when I got home. I got home mentally exhausted. I am really thinking I made a mistake taking this promotion. Yes a little more money, but the stress and getting home later equals less time in my shop doing what I enjoy.

Replaced the headlight and fog light assemblies on a friends Honda Odyssey van. What a PITA.......you have to remove the whole front bumper cover to get to the bolts to remove the headlight assemblies. Also put in Sylvania Silver Star bulbs.......WOW what a difference!!!

I helped the kid put some new sights on his new 45acp, taught him the value of brass jaw protectors for the Wilton he had it in, how to use a plain brass rod as a punch; instead of the short Grace gunsmith pin punches I have..
I went to bed after helping as above, and in the am I found a Grace USA brass pin punch all bent up on my morning table.. dang! Apparently he had a tough time getting the rear sight back in the dovetail.
So, he called Grace.. wanted to purchase one replacement. They don't sell individuals apparently but have agreed to send him the replacement and a tapered version (might be more suited for severe duty) to try...all free of charge. Now they have Two (if not more on the GJ) for life.. He was astonished that the president of the company responded to and is working with him. Another small business with excellent values.. (I told him that the president probably also runs the screw machine...).
Made in USA and excellent customer service (a bit salty on price but I'll live with that)...

The problem with the high output bulbs is that that output comes at a price, and that price is shorter life!

Made up a 30' extension cord for my new to me used Miller 180 I bought last week,and a cord hanger I bent out of some flat stock I had in the scrap bucket.
Need to figure out how I want to build a new cart for the welder next.

Moved in on the 19th and once the house was unpacked immediately started on a fence building project. Hope to be done putting in 360 LF of a 4' high picket fence this weekend then I can start organizing this crime against humanity

Check the front alignment on the Hillman Husky and made a adjustment to the
right side. Ran my hand across the top of the 41 Ford just to let it know I still care. Cars do have fillings don't they.
also got the skill saw out and cut up some scrap lumber. Another mess cleaned up.

Working on the lap top. Had some issues last night, locked up and I had to pull the battery out of it, reload Chrome and Ad-Block. Still seems a bit out of it, doing some defragging and scanning now. It'll get restarted in a bit after Windows uploaded some updates.

Tried using the 'Rain-X' headlight restorer kit. Not very impressed ... might have to do the DIY way, with 3200 wet/dry and rubbing compound .... but man it takes a long time to do it that way.

Working with my youngest daughter building a wood block printing press. Here she is fashioning some mounting plates for the jack.

Worked on my teardrop trailer a little bit, getting ready to build the door it was missing when I got the trailer.
Worked on my Imperial convertible a bit, too. And worked on the son's POS Ranger pickup, as well. It's a 1984 model, so it is carb'd and has a mechanical fuel pump. Third pump to fail in three weeks! We're gonna install a low-pressure electric pump and a filter upstream of that tomorrow.

Finished cutting out, sanding and drilling stars. Mounted them on dowels and now they are magic wands. Tomorrow I put googly eyes on them and paint faces. About 100 for the craft circuit. They'll be gone in a week. And 22 fancier ones for my good employees. They'll display them with all the other silly **** I bring in for them. Some of them have regular shrines.

But when last season ended far to early with this almost making me useless from my ******* down it's sure made for a nerve racking night thinking about my first day back tomorrow.

Since it as almost 60 degrees I decided to do my final winter prep on my Sierra Denali. I did a strip wash and then rinsed and soaped the truck again followed with a clay bar to get all of the old wax and any fallout off the paint. Then I put a paint sealant on the paint and wheels. followed with a layer of wax. I also put some window sealant on the exterior of the windows. I will try and get some pics in the morning.

Yup, after fracturing my T5 in 2 places and breaking the spinal process on it they drilled 18 big ones in connected to 2 rods that are holding my spine in place along my T2-T10.

(1) mount a new motor on a large fan that I picked up and
(2) rebuild a ratchet
What actually happened was:
(1) mount a new motor on a large fan that I picked up and realize that I need a CCW motor, not a CW motor. This was a two speed motor I picked up with a small grinder a while back. I don't believe it can be reversed, at least not easily and in my current comfort zone.
(2) spent 30 minutes looking for the (*&@(#*$&(&@#($&$&*#(@(*&#$ ball bearing on my shop floor and then three minutes finishing the job once I found it.

I hate dropping the ball!! I learned to put a glob of grease on it so it sticks to the feeler gauge I use to reassemble. It helps but still a chance the ball will go flying to never never land...

I started winterizing the lawn tractor. I pulled the deck off, flipped it over, removed the blades and spindles, scraped all the hardened clumps of grass and **** off, sprayed it down with Simple Green and cleaned it, cleaned and greased the spindles and reinstalled. I was going to sharpen the blades, but decided they were too beat, so I bought new ones and installed. Also greased the deck wheels. The deck is ready to go now, but I still need to winterize the rest of the tractor.
I started to winterize the push mower too. Scraped off the bottom, sharpened the blade, hosed the whole thing down and made it nice and shiny. I just need to change the oil, replace the air filter, and drain the gas and that machine will be done.
Oh yeah, I also cleaned the bagger assembly for the tractor, so that is ready to be put away too.

Woke up at noon today. Yesterday's work holiday party was too much. Spending an entire day making nice to people that disgust me while in heels put paid to my spirit and my back. Finished putting eyes streamers and faces on the magic wands for my people. My youngest painted all the others in pearlescent colors. Didn't get near the Dingo charging system.

I did get a little done on it. I mounted the turn signals to the plate holder and made a few adjustments.
Needs some clean-up and then powder coating, and I still need to find some boots for the turn signal backs to clean it up.
