I've been working on putting together a tool kit for maintenance and repairs in our pressroom lately. Richard at TR Tool Supply has been very helpful, and helped me put together a nice order, and at a great price. The press mechanics should be ecstatic with all their new toys.

I've been hoarding all the tools in my office while I look for a box to put them in, and the temptation to take a few home has been nearly overwhelming, but so far I've resisted. :bounce:

no, a commercial shop. there are three 40" presses with 19 units between them, plus a few smaller machines. one pressman per shift is the mechanic :D Just seemed to make more sense in this context.

Do the high end presses like Heidelberg come with their own maintenance tool kits or do they sell tools for their presses?

As a matter of fact all of ours are Heidelbergs. They do not come with tools. its all just normal stuff, if you consider metric normal, that is.
