I wasn't sure when it was going to arrive. I picked "Deliver on Christmas" as an option and then it shipped on like the 8th! That's only half the SS though, the rest hasn't left the nest yet so to speak.

Also, thanks Outlander! It's under the tree awaiting the big day.

First gift under the tree, and Sophie is checking out this "intruder" (She is certain all this tree decorating stuff is just for her, as she was a Christmas time kitten and has always loved hiding under the tree; HATES when the presents crowd her out...)

Pretty high ... just a guess. And I'd further guess it's OK - even encouraged - to open the box now. Santa told me so.

well finally got my package shipped! royal pain, 3 trips through post office to get a decent rate/repackage, fill out customs forms...

but rather than complain, i'll offer a suggestion. Next year, if people want, I will volunteer to help with the organization. send me the names/addresses and i'll put in a spreadsheet and sort by country and use a randomization function to connect names within the same country to avoid the expense of shipping international.

let me know if anyone thinks that's a good idea or not. I don't mind the expense of int'l shipping, but I hate giving the gov any more $$ than I have to...would rather spend it on my secret santa victim instead!
