Well yours may be an L-handle but my 1/2" drive 06789-W-2 turned out to be an
R-handle!

I think mine's Plomb WWII gubmint-issue because the number is a WWII gubmint number and the batch of tools I bought it in had several other Plomb tools and a WWII Snap-On gubmint-issue ratchet.
Mine was missing the ball in the detent on the straight leg, so I ground that square drive round, filled the hole, and dipped it in Plasti-Dip. Got it back in '13 and I haven't used it yet, but to paraphrase Milton, it also serves which only sits and waits.
