I have been trying to get one of these on ebay for a few months, but they go for crazy money. Found this one at the flea market today for $4. Almost did not find it because it was under a pile of tools and stuff.

Works fine. No dents in the jaws. No owners marks. A lucky find.

It will keep my Proto/Vogel double duty ratchet company.

Sweet! They are pricey, but as a usable tool, they are simply weird. I did have a Craftsman adj wrench that had a 3/4 12 point as the handle hole. Cool, but kinda one dimensional. Seems like the old "alligator" style would be smart for the handle end.

Well, I like weird stuff.

I have an adjustable/alligator. Made by Bahco. It came in a Volvo tool kit.

Hmm I wonder how many different brands of double-end adjustables there have been? And from what year is the first one? The Crescent appear in 1920s catalogs from what I have seen, Bahco started to make doubles around 1926. But others?

Some have plenty of money on hand; just like the pricey ebay ones:

610kr = ca 90usd. I saw a very nice small shiny double at a flea-market a feww weeks ago for ca 40usd, no one bought it. The fat-wallet guys stays at their computers:D

Diamond did have that double style, because I bought one at the flea market today. 6" by 4". $5.

I have seen them with a 7/8 12 point there called miners wrenchs and they are usually a 12 inch with the same jaw opening as a 15"
