I'm looking to get a new set of champion brute platinum drill bits for drilling steel now that I've been welding alot more. I've never owned a good set the best I've had is dewalt titanium bits which did alright when kept lubed. I use a milwaukee fuel drill so I'm leaning more towards the platinum bits of a set of cobalts cause of possible side load.
Has anyone used these or can recommend something I've used some dormers which I borrowed at work and they drilled amazingly fast through 1/4 steel or should I just go with cobalt step bits as there less likely to break/shatter?
