Long underwear and socks, exactly what I wanted. I don't like asking for or getting tools as I'm **** about my tools. Call me a ***** but I don't want gimmicky **** or something close to what I wanted.

I would not call that a ***** just a guy that knows what he needs. And goes and gets it. If my wife wants to get me tools she has a list and works off of that. We are a lot alike.

My fiancé got me a few sets of gear wrench sockets I had on my amazon wish list. She also surprised me with some stickers in my stocking and the Snap-On seat. Our son got a Snap-On recliner from his grandma and grandpa.

What a great Christmas!!!!!
I got the under body of my 2008 Ford Ranger 4X4 scraped, primed and painted, what a awesome gift as I didn't have to get on my back and do it myself!!!
If you own a Ranger, you know Ford doesn't paint the frame or any underbody parts, so it turned out great. One less think to worry about, as I try to keep up with vehicle maintenance...to make them last longer than I will live.

I also got a garage book, the wife knows how much I like this forum.
Along with socks, hat, gloves, hankerchiefs, and tickets to a Blackhawks game in April.

And a orange numerical watch...

I had never been to a Sheetz before going to PA to the junkyards with a friend. He said, "We're going stop here, get some goodies for the picking at the yard and it's a good, clean place to do what ya gotta do before hitting the yard."

We also gas up there before going to the yard to do picking and pulling. Works out great.

I got a pair of Vampliers and an Extech test lead kit. Basically stuff I've had my eye on for awhile but never pulled the trigger on.

it was a "lean" christmas around here, lack of cash, due to some unexpected medical issues, and a couple of must fix ASAP problems around the house depleted what little money we had set aside.

2 phone calls in the past couple weeks from kids, and we found out one is running around on 4 bald tires, and another had been walking to work after crashing her bike. so we split what money we had and sent both of them what we could spare.

set a $20-$25 limit for ourselves
had family drop by on xmas eve for dinner, and had turkey lunch at SIL's house today..

but hey, we have a roof over our head, the lights ad heat are on, theres food on the table, and i'm trying to get healthy

Ditto whats been said CrewChief! and get healthy again!

Family did well, and so did I this year!

SWMBO adn my daughter went antiquing:

the coolest is the ARMY RANGE sign! It still has parts of 2 of three rivets in it. An insulator from my oldest daughter, the crank handle thing is a gallon can opener, and the huge saw set (shown with a "std" size set for comparison) are all cool new additions!

New tools:

the GW ratchet was part of my gift from SS, Son and his GF got me the tite reach (he even researched it on GJ to try and determine of it was a "holiday tool" or not.) and SWMBO got me a new Dewalt 20V Battery drill (badly needed - All my others have dead batteries.), with two lithium batteries!

Details of the Drill:

And a new pocket Camera, a Cannon Elph 160, 20 MP (needs an SD mem card - 64 GB already ordered.)

I can't beat post 20, but I got an OTC Cylinder leak tester, 3 packs of Sunex hex and torx impact bits (hex are stubby 3/8 and regular 1/2 drive both SAE and metric, Torx are 1/4, 3/8 and 1/2" drive), and a closeout Tekton screwdriver and bit set from Sears Outlet.

All Taiwan made, BTW.
