Screwdriver organization

I have been perusing through some older threads here looking for inspiration on how to better organize my tools.

For my screwdrivers I like this idea, but can not seem to find the name/style that these are, much less where to get them from.

Any ideas?

Sears use to sell that style organizer. That is where i got mine that are identical to what you have. They were hanging on the wall in the store back where tool box organization was.

Sears still has them, They are actually wrench rails but many se them for screwdrivers. I just bought some the other day.

Ernst makes something similar, actually a little better since it doesn't waste as much space as that. By offsetting the handles, the blades nest a little better along side each other, rather than butting heads with each other.

Those things are great you can use them to organize all kinds of tools. Glad to hear sears still has them I do not have many left now i can up my stock pile a little.

I know it wouldn't be pretty or elegant, but has anyone tried doing this type of thing with the foam pipe insulation?

I'm thinking get some 1/2" pipe insulation (8' is just a couple dollars), and use either a hot knife or simply a regular razor blade to cut slots of any type / shape, and use the adhesive to stick down to the drawer bottom. Cheap, effective, and if done with some attention to detail, probably pretty orderly looking as well.

Blasphemy or awesome? I'm not sure, but I just might try it out. My screwdriver drawer is a disaster....

I did this a while back. It's made from a wall mount Klein display shelf. And also since the pic's were right next to each other, I did the aluminum holder for my SAE T drives.

I use these magnetic bars from harbor freight the drivers might roll a little bit, depending on the size of the handle, but they wont go anywhere

This idea i like and i have some roll bar padding in blue left over. Okay I actually bought extra I do that a lot as soon as i get my other new box this is the way I am going. Oh ya MOPAR OR NO CAR.

I use something similar. Slots cut on closer centers. Flat blades go on one side, facing one direction, phillips on the other side, blades facing the other side's handles. No wasted space.

Wow, how timely is this!! That was a project I was going to tackle tonight for the home box, or at least get started. For years I haven't worked enough at home to care because the business shop is 5 minutes away but I have started getting the home shop set up pending semi retirement at some point in the next couple of years and the tool box definitely needs some attention. I have been adding tools at a pretty good rate the last year and things are getting messy. I also will do something with the shop box because, well,,,,,,,,,lets face it,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,I ain't that organized. I'm not a pig but I ain't OCD.
