Hey all, Looking to get some more suggestions on what I should put down on my floor. Right now the building is wide open so I want to knock this out before I go through final and start moving in. Here's some info and desires.

-Looking for a medium priced solution.
-I will be doing hobby car work so it needs to be durable.
-It's colder in MD right now so needs to be fine with 40F during the day and it will dip low (teens) @ night. I may run a heater to warm the concrete and then shut it down when I start putting down product.
-I like lighter colors better (not gray) or bright colors. I think this will look sharper, reflect more light and make it easier to find dropped bolts/nuts/etc.
-I am fine with the acid etching but don't want to mess with a floor grinder.

Initial ideas are an epoxy with color chips and a clear coat. Acid stain with a clear coat. Probably add some grit to the top coat for some traction but still have a nice gloss.

Please let me know if I can provide anymore information and let me know some suggestions.

With epoxy products, you really need to watch your install temperatures. Heating the area works if its electric or natural gas. DO NOT use propane heat.

A little better luck with polyaspartics but you still need to watch it and you especially need to watch the temperature relative to the dew point.

If Scotty feels his product will work in your conditions I would definitely give him a call!

Lots of options... Tiles, coatings, etc. It really depends on specific circumstances. Even tiles it is better if you can warm it up. Please feel free to PM me with specifics if you need more info

By far our most popular system is our www.armorcladepoxy.com. Over 100,000 kits sold since 1998 with almost zero issues. Needs to be plus 50 deg f. If colder need one of our Ultrafast special systems.

Test for a blush when using epoxy accelerants. It is a real possibility when you start forcing a product beyond its abilities.

If you're interested in an interlocking system, please check out http://exeliausa.com/! Our LW tiles are durable, can withstand wide temperature ranges and are easy to install (DIY installtion). We also have a wide array of colors to choose from.

Here are some images from one of our customers...
