I spent about $1500 on tools, mostly outdoor stuff, only a couple hundred on hand tools and some of them were on evil bay.

Add to that a couple of hundred on consumables (Paint, saw blades, sandpaper, wire wheels and buffing wheels)

Wife still complains it's too much

You have a hum dinger of a question and I have no idea. When you included a tractor as a tool it really sent things flying.

About 400 bucks roughly. I don't keep count or else i wouldn't spent anything lol

Spent around 8000, but I kept what I wanted and sold the rest for about 10,000. So that puts me +2000 for 2015. Unfortunately 2014 was alot of big tools that i kept and ended at -4000. So really I still need to make 2000 to be even.

Just in case the wife ever sees this thread, I spent exactly $17.52 on tools. That's my story, and I'm sticking to it.

Maybe $2k, I bought a bunch of construction type tools this year:

Table Saw used
Ridgid shop vac
1/2" right angle drill used
belt sander used
electric random orbital sander used
HF airless paint sprayer
8" step ladder
Snow blower used
