My current set of drill bits are ****** imports, I have been wanting to upgrade for a while. I only drill in mild steel and 9/16" and larger I have annular cutters. So I'm looking for 1/16" to 1/2" by 64th jobber bits. Two sets I've been looking at are 29 piece sets from Precision Twist Drills and CLE-LINE which both sets are made in the USA any reviews on either brands of drill bits or other brand suggestions of good quality drill bits.

I've had a good experiences with Norseman HSS bits. They can be had for reasonable prices from Epsteins and some other industrial suppliers.

Same quality as Norseman, etc but steeper price. UNLESS you have a nice driver that would replace broken bits with no fuss.(some have had luck, some not)
Gotcha. Norseman looks to be quality stuff. Might sell my Snap on set then. Still haven't gotten around to using it.

It is!, Norseman is owned by Viking, which also operates Consolidated Toledo Drill. These are the two kits I have.

Mechanic length for drilling metal.(with hand drill)

Jobber length for everything else. Eats PVC and wood for snacks. :spit:
