Spent the afternoon working on my Cherokee, it needed a new radiator and while I was in there I did the water pump, which led to the thermostat and finally the hoses and belt. It is really ready for winter now.

Changed the oil and filter on my DD 2003 ford ranger and did a little roof patching on the house so the squirrel's can't get in and nest for the winter, this warm weather has them all confused.

Finished pulling the last of my wire, it just needs to be hooked up. And installed the last of my conduit and switch boxes. It is a slow process but I am happy with how things have turned out .

Wired up 6 outlets on one side wall. Now to go get ready for the next week out if town for work then back at it next weekend now the cash flow is back.

Found and cleaned off the dust from an axe handle I got a few years ago! True Temper at lowes or home depot for $11. Great deal actually.

Installed three wall mount cabinets and worked on insulating the walls of the shop. Made a mess of the place. Piled a bunch of **** on top of the sand car I spent all day yesterday cleaning.

Added a N.C. 120vac 10-250psi JD Gould M3V shutoff valve to my compressor which is on the same timer as everything else. Eventually I'll add another receptacle and get rid of the tacky 3 plug outlet. Found 2 of them new on the eBay machine for $50.

I moved 13 linear ft of lateral file cabinets all taller than me by myself. Also a shelf and my eletronics bench. Took 5 hrs and 3 dollies but I got it all done myself.

Going to pay for it tomorrow watch.

Dragged in a bunch of 4" PVC fittings and pipe to extend the dust collector to the ShopSmith. This will be the last of the DC network in my shop.

Cut the rear crossmember out of my wife's cj7 and found, you guessed it, more rust inside the framerails. This started as a shackle bushings and shocks job, looks like it's time to warm up the new welder.

Finished my 3 tier hammer rack out of recycled wood and hardware I had lying around the yard. One oak pallet, some old 1x6 tongue and groove redwood for the top shelf, 4x4 PT for the main structure, and Walnut for the side table that the Keystone hand crank sharpening stone is attached to. For the top shelf and side shelf I used some old galvanized simpson ties I had leftover from another project. I will be making some misc. hooks for it also. I already had all the bolts and lags to assemble it. I did have to buy the metal casters form a local hardware store, they cost me $5.50 each.

Nope, recycled rubber roof membrane! It's really thick and keeps the ground moisture out. Also, I can drive on it and it won't tear. I have an 8000 lb Hummer on it right now. It's fine! I'm gonna reuse it as my vapor barrier under my concrete this spring. If you live in the area of SE MI, they have about 10000 sqft of this stuff. Its only 10¢ sqft!!!! I did 800 sqft today

Shop potty started burping. That usually means cleaning the final trap. But I just did that a week or two ago. Some of the joy I freed in my efforts must have coasted down the line to lodge just out of reach of my 50 foot snake. I'm tired of renting the power snake that doesn't work right half the time or getting the snake charmer that charges $200 to just show up and unlimber his gear. So, I've settled on a Clog Hog for my pressure washer. We'll see how well that works when it arrives.

Yeah. Vent's clear. I have a special cleanout so I can check and clear it. Did both. Couldn't account for all the chunks. Now my main outside line is extremely slow.

Plowed with the gator last night for the first time. I made a few passes up and down (1000' steep driveway) before ice built up and I couldn't make it back up. I put the chains on and I made it just fine. She's only 2wd. The bolt holding the hook on my winch snapped off midway thru (thanks HF). So I got a new bolt but I want to change the lift location on the plow. This requires a larger d ring than I have here so I will run out in a few. I think the next purchase is a sander for the back. Sadly they don't have an enclosed cab for my model so I have a golf cart cover on her now. Fits good but not like a Curtiss.

I also finally replaced all this **** that broke in the vette before I put her away for the winter. Broke the stud while driving. Rod got bent, spread the guide plate, and I dinged up two rockers. The rockers could still be used, but I took them out and replaced them.

Changed out the expansion tank on the boiler. It was waterlogged. When I pressed on the fill valve it peed water.
I guess 20 years is good for an expansion tank.

Pulled in the branch circuit for my garage heater. Fortunately I had most of the materials on hand; I did have to buy the 30 Amp fused disconnect.

I reused some salvaged 10-2 NM cable, I was not aware of how ridged that stuff is, my previous experience was with stranded THHN. Pulling solid wire, when it's a little beat up, can be laborious.

preplaced both belts on wife Sentra, changes oil, filters & wipers now that we are actually getting some winter weather up here.

also, garage doors have shatty base seals. So bought new tracks, rubber seals and decided to try adding foam inside rubber "fold".
figured foam would add some rigidity to rubber to ensure it seals to floor, and around and sticks/stones/etc.
so far noticed much tighter seal and very happy with result.

next is to replace seals around outside of doors. again, shatty nailed up type. will get better ones, as I'm not big on the breeze I can feel when working out there with the heat on.

If that's caulk saver then my experience has been that it will compress. As the door seal gets older it will loose it's flexibility and easily overcome the caulk saver within. It works great - just be prepared to inspect it yearly and replace when necessary. It was never designed apparently to have constant pressure applied to it which is what happens since your door stays down probably more than it stays open.
