Some member on the GJ did a very nice post on the GJ yesterday about how he discovered Channellock Nut Buster pliers and how much he loved them. I just wanted to show off a few older examples but the post went AWOL.

Did this happen because someone overseas infected the GJ computer program with a virus and if so did it kill other stories?

Please if that GJ member would do the post over again I would like very much to add some pictures.

Thank you.

Maybe. It's been interesting to say the least for the last few days. And I remember the post you're talking about. Prompted me to put the Nutbuster back on my list to tools to get.

Woody, post the photos of yours in this thread. Still interested in seeing them. Maybe he'll see this thread.

I saw the vaguest hint of argument last I read it, then it was deleted by admin. It must've blown up quick, really quick. I was pretty interested.

Yeah I wondered what happened in that thread, it was totally civil and I posted a pic of a pair I just got at a flea. Guess we may see it on the next installment of 'When good threads go bad'

I think it became a little more substantial than brand versus brand. I don't have to suggest where that could go. Anyway, let's see those pics. It was a good thread.

I started that post yesterday. Maybe the mod can reopen it and just remove what was offending. No big deal.. I should have my nutbusters tomorrow.

It "went away", too...

Very mysterioso...

Usually when an on track thread goes sideways a mod will clean it up some. It must have went full nuke to get totally disappeared. Oh well, here's the nearly new pair I snorked up at the local flea.

Just curious. What makes these so great? I'm a plumber and have all kinds of pliers including Knipex and a couple variations of Channellocks but I could always use more :rocker:

They're like a pipe wrench, tighter you pull tighter they grab.

I remember the post on the nutbuster pliers. When I posted a reply to it I mentioned how I do not own any of those pliers but I do own a nutcracker. Maybe they took it the wrong way and deleted it. Who knows? My nutcracker is sitting in the drawer pictured with it still in its factory packaging.
