I bought the 1/4 and 3/8 long handle flex. They seem to be ok, action is nice, but the damn heads are too loose. I put some shims on the 1/4 one and it's held up for a while now, but the 3/8 is way too loose. I might try messing with it later on.
On a side note... Anyone know if the 1/2 breaker bar handle would work with the 1/2 head?

I don't know for sure but its a possibility. I took a 3/8 breaker bar of theirs and out a ratchet head on it to have an 18in long ratchet. There are some posts here that call it the frankenratchet

For everyone not liking the flex head they have the same ratchets with a fixed head that are still low profile and non quick release. Minus the extra long models

I have those. I never bought the flex head ones. I knew right off the bat if I didn't have a locking system or detents I wouldn't have liked it. But the fixed heads have worked well for me. They use a diff lever in the back which is nicer. Well to me it is.

HF ratchets are not bad at all. I have the 2 3/8" composite ratchets (admittedly i never use them because i just got them and i have about 8 other ratchets) figuring that they will come in handy one day when changing a starter and the battery is still connected (has not happened yet) so no sparks will fly.

I also have the flex head 72 teeth (30 something dollars regular price) 1/2" ratchet. pictured below. i use that when ever i need good leverage and i cant fit a gun in there or a gun is inappropriate for the job. I like it a lot, except for the fact the the direction lever is opposite of every other ratchet that i own.

The second video is the actual video. The HF ratchets are nice but not as nice as my GW soft grip flex head 120xp ratchets. That one stays in my cart and gets used on everything all day everyday!

Bit off subject but those locking pliers you show in your video. Where are they made?

IDK if they are good or not, but after first day on 3/8 flex head it was way to loose. I took off the head and found some little round concave washer so I put tapered lady slipper in vise and forked end on it and hit a few times till it went back together with a split ring washer I had laying around. Haven't done anything hard enough to really test it yet so it might be a big fail but better than it was originally I think.
