Well I got the Ernst wrench holders. The ones with separate rails. They're quite nice, especially given that I never had any organization for my wrenches before them. Anyone have a tiny wrench organizer? For tiny wrenches 4 - mm

Also can anyone clarify if he meant Nu Source, when it comes to the liner

Really nice feature of the Ernst gripper wrench racks is that they make them in virtually every increment of set size. They come in 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13 and 15 slots in both red and black. The reversed grippers come in 8, 12 and 15 only. I just happened across this recently when I went to their website to explore their entire product line. Certainly nice if you have all the wrench sets you are going to get and want buy one specifically tailored to each set. They also have a 16 slot standard rack and 20 slot graduated rails.

i just ordered 7 slot racks for my Gearwrench Flex Head sets that just have the most commonly used sizes (10, 12, 13, 14, 15, 17, 19mm)

My buddy is switching to the Hansen Trays. I like the idea, but worry about having the right sizes on the tray for the sizes of what I have.



I have had a heck of a time finding a wrench tray that fit all the wrenches in any given set (16 each in my two new sets). I have four different styles and none of them work for any full set. Either the smaller wrenches are too small or the medium sizes are too small or too big. The big ones always fit. I can't imagine every wrench manufacturer doesn't have a tray for their wrenches. Of course, I haven't found them for Craftsman.

Picked up one of these while I was at sears for $12.

Some of my sockets don't really like it much, but most of them fit pretty well. I can see some of them breaking off over time, as they're pretty thin and seem to bend pretty easily. The ones for the smaller sockets. Guess you have to be pretty careful with this. Might be a lot better if it was steel instead of plastic.

I recently got the Ernst Socket Boss setup for my sockets. It's great! Highly recommend.

Those are different... I might have considered that instead of Ernst if it was larger and held more wrenches.

No argument there, that is just flipping gorgeous!. :rocker:

Made these out of wood on the miter saw, ordered a few sheets of the socket label stickers on ebay to put on the flat spots on the sides

Depending on how much you have but I got a craftsman empty mechanic tool box at Sears for like 18 bucks and it has a hole for pretty much all my sockets and ratchets. Also good for wrenches. I keep all my other ones just on regular rails but thinking of upgrading at some point. It does the job.

Same type of no name brand socket holders are available...I got some at a car show in MN. for $2 to $4 each 3 years ago.

There plenty of brands that don't use a full length peg.
