Replaced a hydraulic hose on the swing cylinder of my 802 Bradco backhoe that hangs on my John Deere 820 Diesel tractor.

Fabbed up the final pieces of the powerhead for my ski/sled/tube hill's rope tow.

Well, I had an excuse to play with dolls today as I started the upgrade and repair of my car show RC car.
Last year, as you dutifully remember, I fixed my RC car and put Barbie in it.
RC4.jpg

Well, I don't want to blame her for all the scrapes and scuffs the car got last season.
The old RC10 just isn't what it use to be.

So, we tore off the body, taped up the stripes and black trim and started repainting the body.

The paint fumes in the garage were pretty strong....
Anyway, as the body was drying, I introduced Barbie to her new driver for this upcoming years car show season.

She wasn't too mad at me and wanted to say hello to you.( she is so friendly, she did that to everyone this past year at the car shows. Probably the car was in such ruff shape.)
Test fit the figurines inside the interior and wired them in place.

"I wired!....Me Too!"

Ahhhh, paint fumes! *sigh*

Finished this shelving unit up and put a couple coats of paint on it. Then fabbed up some brackets it to lag it to the ceiling for "peace of mind". If it tips over, it'll hit the wife's Explorer.

Shelf unit looks good Eric! Lagging into wall or ceiling is a great idea.

At former employer, they were **** having shelving and cabinets attached to walls - to each other - etc. Had a manager during shop safety inspections would open drawers on say a Vidmar cabinet and wouldn't stop until he had all the drawers open or the cabinet started to tip forward!

Used to work for the Dept of Defense. They had rooms full of Stanley Vidmar cabinets and everyone was bolted to the floor and each other. No one wants to be in the way of a falling cabinet full of parts.

There was an on base hospital, just in case.

You need to tighten up your terminology.

Men play with Action Figures. Nancy boys play with dolls. Carry on.

I didn't do much after work today, but I did get my "new" cabinet inside. I picked up this black 78h x 36w x 18d cabinet literally right before it went in a dumpster. The 3 drawer cabinets are some old dorm style dressers. I put some wood cleats on top of one to screw them together. That made room for the black one. Half the stuff in that before picture is either trash or needs sold anyway. At least I can't see the junk now!

Slowly trying to finish the mud and tape. Trying to get it done in sections. Going to bring this side up to fully painted and install some shelving and slate wall then going to tackle the other side, that is where the wood working / metal working and mechanics will be!

Yesterday I installed leads and fired up the Idealarc R3R 400(?) I bought ,, used, last fall. It takes me a while. What an upgrade from the Hobart AC unit! And a good buy as well, ended up with about $700 invested.

I got out of work late last night and didn't get much done. All I did is got my new 22' flagpole mounted on our coach and the new FMCA 4-Wheelers goose egg placard mounted on my ladder. I hope to get the LED top wired in tonight.

Mike.

Ground the lumps off the garage aprons that prevented the rubbers on the bottom of the garage doors from sealing properly. Time to paint the aprons and driveway (original owner thought it was a good idea -- it's re-paint or remove and just thinking about removing the paint makes me tired).

You may want to post these Barbie pictures in the 'pin up' thread.

Started vacation today. Getting ready for a 3 day ATV club jamboree. Dug the trailer out of the snow, warmed up the Outlander, started to pack up my kit bag with helmets and such.

Fixed up my EDC pocket organizer (Maxpedition) with what I could, including a Stanley pocket screwdriver, Gerber Clutch multi-tool, LED flashight and so as as well as installing my new Gerber Shard on my key chain.

Old mx'er. Bring back the glory days of motocross. I love the smell of silokoleen in the morning. Long time runner in the NESC series them were the days. My sore knees remind me daily.

I need to find some once-fired .45 cal. brass to make my pawns from, and to determine a dark finish for the second set of royalty, and their pawns.

Nice work. There is a product called brass black that will put a deep dark color on the brass. Hope that helps.
