Proto J715 15" adjustable wrench. I'd been wanting one longer than my 12" Klein for a while...Zoro had a 30% off deal in November so I ordered some Apollo ball valves and a Klein 15" wrench.

Wrench took forever to arrive and was the ginormous 18" version, so I sent it back. Never heard another word. I called Zoro and they cancelled the Klein replacement and gave me 30% on the Proto, which was cheaper to begin with and USA made versus Spain for the Klein.

Showed up yesterday and it's very nice. Stock photo:

If this is a Clik-Stop version let me know how you like it. I've had a 12" version on my wish list for far too long.

It's not, that would have been the J715L. I read about the Clik-Stop and decided I probably wouldn't like it. If it's like my Klein wrenches, they don't move during use anyway so I'm not sure how much good it would do.

Got tired of never finding my mini side cutters when I needed to restring a guitar. These will never leave the guitar tool kit. USA made and under $10.

Snap-Ons website is a joke.They can't afford a webmaster.

I will agree their site is a bit mickey-mouse but if you know your way around there you can find items that don't normally show up. If the site was done right, you'd probably see catalog items and nothing else which, I'm sure is probably their intent but with no capable web team, the site is full of holes.
To me the funniest part is that on the US site, the new tools link has had the same list for a year or 2

It isn't much. A simple oil filter cup. Fits the oil filters for both my cars. Cost like $3.50. Nothing special, but not a hard use item either. Picked it up because I put my filter on a little tight last time, and I could not wrench it free by hand. Lol.

Is that an extendable ratchet and how far does it extend ?

Screwdrivers(Witte I assume) are looking nice.
It's all matco, ratchet is 24" collapsed, 40" when extended. I used another guys for pulling the two 90s on head bolts on dd15's great ratchet, screwdrivers are nice too

Autel AL519 OBDII reader I just got off amazon. Going out to use it tonight on the mother in laws car for check engine light!

I bought the same one a few months ago to check I/M readiness monitors since I couldn't get the bmw drive cycle down and pass smog. It worked great, used it for a few other cars since then. I think I bought it based off reviews, and didn't want the HF knock-off since prices were so similar.

oh and a local cl deal today. sk metric flare nut wrench set (9mm-21mm) and a 35" 3/8 extension for $50

New table saw that is listed as a bench model. Not a damn thing wrong with the saw but since it takes up almost just as much space as the Sportster, I have learned that I have a small bench. :D:bounce:

I'd have paid $50 just for the flare nut set. Nice score!

Just got my Cornwell 3/8" short flex ratchet from fellow member Hiball (used the picture from his ad, no point in taking the same one again).
DSC_0297_zpsw0fwmxro.jpg

Still like new so a little clunky, but can understand why everyone raves about how smooth they are for only being 30T. Feels 10x better than the worn in MAC ratchets I had, and currently about as smooth as the 36T Snap-On/Williams ratchets. Not sure how much I'll use it at home, but had to try out a Cornwell after reading so much here.:D

I found a couple of Craftsman USA shovels I had been looking for, for awhile. Like so many other Cman products, the shovels are currently made where you might guess they're made and have been for a couple of years.

I've had outstanding luck finding older USA produced tools at Sears Hometown stores, often at clearance prices. I'd still like to find a long handle round point though and whatever other Cman shovels that were once produced at home.

Here is some of my recent purchases. The mg725 just came back from rebuild so it's pretty much a brand new gun. Not in the picture but I picked up a spill free cooling system funnel and placed an order for a brand new snap on KRL1023.

From my EDC bundle:

- new LED pocket flashlight Thorfire PF01 (used daily since I got it a week ago)
- Stanley pocket screwdriver (with 2 double end bits)
- Gerber Shard keychain tool (which I wrapped in some paracord)
- Maxpedition pocket organizer (to make it easier when out on the ATV to keep things from getting misplaced)
- Edelrid PURE screw gate carabiner (I went with the locking kind because I have dropped keys off my old carabiner before and it was only a matter of time before I lost them and was stranded)

For those that may be interested the 'not new' stuff includes:
- Gerber Clutch multi-tool (shopping for full size multi tool but there are so many configurations I am stumped and will probably make an impulse buy one day)
- CRKT Crawford design folding knife (will impulse buy a knife with a serrated edge at some point - too many to chose from but I like the Spyderco Delica 4 etc)
- 2200mAh emergency charger for my phone
- small USB key
- pen from my stash at work (need to find a nice tactical pen, or space pen)

Stopped at Eppy's Tools in Howell NJ, huge SK inventory with great prices, picked up a few goodies: #86320 and #86321 screwdriver sets with the hard suregrip handles and #45171 ratchet, 3/8" drive in a 1/4" body. Worth the trip, will be stocking up on more SK soon.
