We do pour from the bottom end of the hammer. We can only run one color per line, so making multi-colored hammers requires some effort, pouring from a line and from a container off the other line. This is more of the "hammer tease" cited earlier in this thread.

Just the fact that your business takes the time to play around with our ideas and take them as legit considerations shows a level of customer service that is rare today.

Based off reputation alone on this forum and from the few green hammers I picked up from your last green promo, you have a customer for life!

I was thinking that, but forgot to say it lol. It would be a juggling act. Lol

I know this is a colors thread, but have you guys looked into a poly hammer line with rubber grips (like Snap-On, etc.)? Just curious. As far as the colors go, I like the yellow idea. Caterpillar yellow would sell I bet.

I'd buy them! As long as I'm still employed that is... Otherwise my hammer money will be spent on food.

To be honest, I like the glow in the dark idea a lot. Purple is probably my choice, not sure I would buy yellow or pink. After using the bright colors, they get dirty way too easy and in the shop I have lots of dirty.

I guess that's one downside of all the bright colors; they don't stay bright very long. I like the blue for that reason. I got my first TC dead blow yesterday in blue and I love it.

Now I'm just afraid of ending up like Strouty. :lol_hitti

Don't worry, Strouty's condition is a very rare case and is not contagious. Even of you bought every single hammer in one color you still wouldn't be close! The idea of buying the same hammer in 3 colors, strouterific.

We haven't explored the rubber grips. We make some private label hammers that have the rubber grips.

Pink are for the "girls"... Many of which (of course not those women on the GJ) will not get them very dirty.... I'd hang one on my peg board in the garage just to say I donated to the breast cancer cause..sort of like my filter bank cans.. You know.. tool polisher version.. :lol_hitti

I do like the glow in the dark idea..

This is a hammer tease, hot from the mold. The steel is hot to touch. The new molds are great. This "stubby" hasn't been trimmed or finished, yet. It looks pretty dang good to me.

Wow that looks about perfect without any finishing. Looking forward to getting one.

We'll have to pull the "red" uranium battery from the prototype in the video by Firworks before we ship the hammer to you.

That would probably simplify the shipping. I imagine there are some crazy transport and export regulations on those things! You can still make the sounds with your mouth though. BZzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzztttttttttshwaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaazzzzzzzzztttttt

Just saw this posted over on the TC Youtube page:
<iframe width="420" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/uHUudYTu5U8" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

I didn't realize TC was the OEM for CAT's deadblows! That's pretty cool. I figured CAT would just re-brand Snap-on / Bluepoint deadblows. The video is really low quality but with a keen eye you can spot some stuff in the video. I didn't see the tiny ball peen being though. Someone else could perhaps peep that pixel. It's also possible this was recorded some time ago and they weren't even making green or blue ballpeens or the stubby. Or the Buddy Blaster... Those would have been pretty easy to spot I think.

Also, when they said TC's profits were up 40% over last year I wondered how that aligned with Strouty's purchases. Maybe all that increase is on the back of their #1 customer.

I believe he said "45% growth" in the video, which is different than a 40% profit increase. This video is pretty old. If this video was to be shot today, we'd all be screaming "SPINDLE LINERS, SPINDLE LINERS." The link below goes to our spindle liner page. There is a short, humorous video about half way done the page.
