I am new to Garage Journal and have enjoyed reading your discussions of tools and projects. You guys have been a help to me researching my collection of old tools…Thanks.

I am offering here For Sale or Trade the following Plomb tools. I estimate (based on the logo design & finish) these are from the 1940’s. See the pictures I have included here. I am asking $40.00 + shipping for the following. If I am off base on my asking price, make a counter offer for the lot or the items you are interested in.

Plomb 3/8" drive Crowfoot Wrenches with Cadmium finish.
-15/16" K21914
-1" K21905
-1 1/8” K21916

Plomb Flarenut wrench 3720 - 5/8" w/ Pebbled background.

Plomb “Wright Field” socket
-1/2" drive 1" (double hex) socket part number WF-52

Plomb Sparkplug socket
-3/8” drive 7/8" (hex) socket part number PWA-2254

If you want to offer a trade, I am looking for…
Snap-On 3/8” drive sockets dating to 1940’s - 9/16”, 5/8”, and 5/16”
Bonney Combination Wrenches – Bonaloy Brand dated to 1940’s
-3/8” 1160, 9/16” 1163, 13/16” 1167A, 15/16” 1168, 1” 1170

In the near future, I plan to also offer some Open-Ended, box, and Tappet wrenches, and some sockets dating to the 1930’s – 1940’s; manufactures include Armstrong, Bonney, ChromeXQuality, Cornwell, and a few others. Let me know if you are interested in these tools, I can provide additional details and pictures.

Thanks for considering my posting.

How much for the the PWA socket. I do have other Plomb WF sockets, and such that I'm willing to trade.

T56 Impala,
Thanks for offering other WF for trade. I will pass as I am sticking to collecting Bonney Snap-on, and some Cornwell from the 30's and 40's.

Thanks,
Anthony

I thought I would attach a larger picture of the Crowfoot wrenches. As you can see the Cadmium finish is still in good shape. Also, there are No personal engravings on these wrenches. I am guessing the grease and dirt spots can be removed with a brass wire brush. I only wipped these wrenches with a rag and some WD 40 so as to not remove any of the original finish. Thanks for the interest.

Ouch! Now I know who my competition is for the Bonaloy stuff! I also collect the DBE Bonaloy wrenches. I don't have any of the Combos and most of my trade stock is much earlier than the 1940's. Most date from the late teens to the early twenties.

Let me think it over for a day, and I'll let you know.

You want my list? I only have a few WF related items I am looking for. A few Bonney's and a few Wrights. After that, I'm not sure. Maybe I'll get serious about the NAF and PWA stuff. I do have a soft spot for old VlChek stuff. Don't know why exactly.

Give me a list of the WF stuff you are in need of. I have some doubles (triples, quads) I'm more than willing to trade.

Do you have any of the Bonney 3/8" drive CV sockets? These should date to the 20's and 30's.

I have the T35 Ratchet dated T - 1942 and a Bonney PWA 3/8" flex drive handle dated to 1942-45, but no Bonney sockets. Let me know if you have any bonney sockets dating to the 20's or 30's.

By the way, do you have any pics of your 56 Impala?

Thanks,
Anthony
