Welding Tank Organizer is back!! Now larger than before and even MORE changes and additions. Conveniently store everything in one spot, welding hood, 1 1/8" regulator wrench, welding pliers, etc.

Oh cool! definitely some nice stuff

A few ideas for new stuff:

tig / mig welder torch holders

milling machine accessories / organization like collet holders and things of that sort

extension cord rack?

wire spool rack

screw clamp storage

screwdriver racks / wrench racks - shallow stuff for inside toolbox drawers to keep things from rolling or sliding around

I'm sure I'll think of some more, but that's all I can come up with quickly

You've got him feverishly doing layouts on his CAD system right now.

Several more went out today. Thanks again for your support. Still haven't had a chance to come up with anything new lately.

A local guy stopped by the other day and requested a Sandpaper Roll Rack. That's one i'll definitely be able to use once its done!

Have you thought about making a hammer rack? I can easily imagine how one could be made but the initial complication I could see with it is that because hammers vary in their dimensions so much it could be difficult to just have one design that works for everybody.

I would start by using steel instead of wood like my old fishing rod rack pictured here. :dunno:

I have a build thread I started called "2-Story Carriage House to Auto Hobby Shop", but I'm not the best at forums. I'd rather spend my time working on the shop. The pegboards with the slots are made by WallControl. It's an American company and they are awesome. Sheetmetal pegboards in all kinds of colors for cheap. You should check them out.

Do you think you could make a version of that welding tank rack to hold an oxy fuel torch and something to hold the coiled hose? Maybe a hook for a sparker and a slot for an acetylene bottle wrench? I'll be buying one for my mig welder but with some small modifications this would be awesome on my 150 cu ft oxygen cylinder (my tanks are chained to the wall, not on a cart).

Thoughts?

I have been putting off a peg board setup for over a year because I couldn't find anyone selling in the smaller size I was after. Wall Control have just what I've been looking for! Hadn't heard of them until now so thanks for that!

I really like these storage solutions! Highly considering picking up a couple of these organizers since I am running out of room in my MB7525 and it would be a cheaper alternative than buying a top box and it would still allow me to use the top as a work bench.

Once you receive the first tank organizer, if you want to use that as a template for drawing up a different one that you'd want, that would probably be the easiest way.

Thanks!
