I was ready to pull the trigger on a new Snap On FRLL80 but I dont think it says made in America? WTH?

Yup, all of the Dual 80 models are US made, dont be afraid to grab one. Like it was said above, for a brief period of time, Snap On dropped the COO off the ratchets, so some on the used market will be like this, although they are still US made.
So if i call Snap On and order one now it will be made and say USA on it right?
It will be made in USA for sure, as for the marking, call and double check. There may still be some unmarked ones floating around in old stock.
It is the law to have the origin of the product placed on it. At least I thought that was the latest law.

Snap-On was looking to source the pawls for their (and Bahco with same basic drive design) from the same (non-U.S. country.)
Luckily, they can keep it "U.S.A. made" when only that tiny amount is made overseas.
