I have two snap on ratchets from their stent when some marketing ***** decided to appeal to a global market by dropping the USA stamp. They quickly reversed course when the outcry began. They put some of those non-usa stamped ratchets on sale in a BOGO deal. So there are non-USA stamped ratchets out there, they are still genuine snap on though. My FL80 and TL72 are both like this, purchased from Snapon.com

Yup, all of the Dual 80 models are US made, dont be afraid to grab one. Like it was said above, for a brief period of time, Snap On dropped the COO off the ratchets, so some on the used market will be like this, although they are still US made.

So if i call Snap On and order one now it will be made and say USA on it right?

OK, the person I spoke with there today said they are made in Elizabethton Tennessee and are stamped made in USA. At least the FRLL80 ratchet is specifically.

Pull the trigger, you'll be glad you did. Pictures show my early 2000's FHRLF80 doesn't have the USA stamping, but my 2014 FLL 80 does. Just a failed experiment from Snap On, all their ratchets are made in USA

Snap-On was looking to source the pawls for their (and Bahco with same basic drive design) from the same (non-U.S. country.)

Luckily, they can keep it "U.S.A. made" when only that tiny amount is made overseas.

Curious, Where did you get that info? Are you in the know?
