Right Angled Die Grinder Model # SLP-83150
http://www.ebay.com/itm/252260617664?_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:IT
St. Louis Pneumatic 1/4" Rt. Angle Industrial Die Grinder - MADE IN USA
8-Left at $39.75 with FREE shipping.

I think these are a good deal personally.
Last year I bought a used SLP-83150 for more than the cost of this one. I also purchased a new SLP-83125KT and it was also more expensive than the price listed here.

I already put in an order with him for one of each so have at 'em! But be fast. It's listed for 5 more hours though I'm assuming he would relist whatever doesn't sell.

Thanks, just bought two more right angles. B/C I'm lazy and don't like changing attachments.

Yessir!

Glad ya'll could snag a few. I like the SLP die grinders I already have. They might not be a Dotco, but they sure get the job done.

I've actually bought a couple from this seller too. Interesting and I never finished researching it, but they say "made exclusively for Kahn tools" on the label. From the limited searching I did it appears that they are/were a drop ship company specializing in US made tools. When they ship these you'll notice they ship from St. Louis, or nearby. BTW the quality is good, you will be happy with them.

I just bought lots from the relisted posting. Hope they look as good in person and work just as well. Anyone who's interested make sure you note the differences in the two straight shaft ones. RPM's, size and price. Looks like there is tons of interest on ebay, he sure has a lot of them.

Looks like kahn tools went out of business so it appears this seller is clearing out extra inventory.

Yep I saw that too. Did you notice the Ebay seller's ID and location?

Regardless it's a great deal on excellent quality grinders. I guess I need to pick up a couple extras now too.

Thanks J and Tinner, in for 3. BTW guys, I looked at prices from other suppliers and these seem to go for around a buck fifty. So 33 each is smoking.

Damn I need to stay away from this place.

You're welcome gents!

Glad I'm able to help some members out. These are a great deal. Especially if you need several. 3 for the price of one.

Except I would have normally only bought one used random old one on ebay and instead I bought four. NOBODY CAN SAVE ME MONEY!! I am really excited about these, they shipped this evening.

I have a feeling I'm just nieve, but someone fill me in on this brand vs the normal big name/box store brands. I recently got a compressor big enough to power a grinder and have been (passively) looking for a couple setups.

If you were married, your wife could save you money for sure! - Paul

I am happily married with many children. My wife is a very practical women who sees right through marketing tactics such as those employed by kohl's, so I am fortunate to never have to hear how much money we "saved" after a shopping trip. She does occasionally ask me if we in fact need something if the UPS man shows up too often, but mostly lets me make tool decisions. I am a lucky man.

I've been waiting to buy a StLP grinder from HD for quite awhile. From what reviews I've found over the past year or so they're pretty good. You can also buy from them direct. Just a little more expensive. They have a fairly big line of air tools. I just got some from eBay.

Oh sure. Well, other GJer's who have used this brand, please comment!!! I am trusting the OP and others here, as I've not used this brand. - Paul

I like them well enough Paul. They are sold by Home Depot, but not available for purchase in store. I would'nt consider them a big box brand though. They're sold by HD, but completely independent off them.

Most people buy the cheapest die grinder they can find. These are much better in terms of quality. We just lucked out and found them for a much better price than they normally go for.

Actually, I have a great wife too. She doesn't do frivolous things with money and is at least as thrifty as I am, if you can actually believe that! I will keep her! :willy_nil :rocker: - Paul

Dude just pick up one or two, at least the angle. I have high flow Miltons and gave my angle hell on an entire c10 bedside and it's still going strong. I'm telling you, the quality is there, you won't be disappointed.

All are gone now. If anyone decides they didn't need as many as they ordered, I'll buy a Straight one off of you. I got the last right angle with the intention of ordering the straight once I finished my first order, but it apparently sold while I was ordering the right angle, bummer.

Just FYI, on ebay you can hit ADD TO CART, put as many items as you want in there and then pay all at once. (or even just pay for all the items from only one seller)

I typically do that, but I checked out on my phone this time so I wasn't about to mess with figuring out how to do that when I knew there was only 1 of each. Thanks OP!

Gotchya. I hope they can iron out the wrinkles on the mobile app sooner than later. I've bid on stuff last second and it says, "Sorry, you lost." And a hour later, "BAM! You won. Pay Now.".

I've rescheduled a couple of my inspections before so I can stay at home on the PC and bid on stuff last second. (Maybe I should get that Sniper software.)

you are lucky indeed.

"You have too many tools"
"Well you have too many noses. Get out of my shop."

"You'll never use all of those tools"
"Neither will you. In fact, you'll never touch any of them."
