Everyone has their own opinion. Once you go Knipex, you don't go back.

I'm sure you'll like the German quality.

You can thank Rich for introducing this deal on the forum. Thanks Rich! :)

I almost ordered the 7" alligator pliers too because I don't have any small ones. I may just go back and order them.

Be careful with the 7" alligator pliers. If you have $10 off $20 in Surprise Points from Sears, the 7" Alligator Pliers are $12 + Tax (Free Shipping from Sears). It came out to $13 and change for me. However, I already have the Cobra pliers. Instead of the Alligator pliers, I'd choose Channellock's Tongue & Groove Pliers.

Of course, just days after I buy a set of regular cobra pliers, the comfort grip ones go on sale for the same price. Oh well, life goes on.

Just ran across some new Knipex sets on Mobile Distributor Supply.
Looks like they lowered the prices on some as well.

Don't forget to use coupon code KNIPEX for free shipping if your order is under $49.

Lowercase----- k
Make sure no spaces

@LB-1911, seems like these deals come around every few months or so. This is how consumerism has always worked, and the irony is that, it actually works. Check out the current market situation, stocks go up, shortly later, tumble down, its all entertainment and drama if you know what I mean, :p

The coupon code isn't working for me on a pair of cobras, anyone else having issues?

Same here. I gave up, the prices on Amazon weren't that much more for what I wanted.

Edit...the promo code is entered in the cart, before you start the checkout. Is there another opportunity to enter the promo code after you've entered all your info in the checkout?

Yes there is, just return back to cart. You can even go back to the home page and start the checkout process all over again.

You have to sign up for an account and then they will email you the Save 10% code.

Just tested it. Worked for me. I was logged in.

Make sure the order is $50 or more, even a couple of pennies less, and the coupon results in an error.

If you're in NY or TN, tax is extra below and above the $50 threshold.

Shipping is free for orders below $50 if you apply coupon code knipex
Shipping is free for orders above $50 when SAVE10. If order is below $50, SAVE10 is still valid but free shipping will not apply

*If you use SAVE10 and try to also use the knipex promo code subsequently (for orders below $50), the free shipping will not be valid (coupons cannot be combined)*

What else did you all order?
Has anyone tried the angled pliers and multi-function electrician's plier?
I hear the cable shears are great as well. I already have a 10" Code Blue Channellock, not sure if I really need the Knipex 6.5"-inch :D

Once you go with Knipex, you don't go back.

But also, once you go with comfort grip Knipex, you won't go back to dipped handle Knipex.

So give the comfort grip Knipex a try.

Edit: But I will go with Channellock from time to time, if the price it right.

Help me...should I buy a 5", 6", or 7" plier wrench? I can't decide!

I already have the 10" BTW.

Might pull the trigger on my first Knipex Pliers Wrench. But Im not sure - should I look elsewhere and get the comfort grip? Or is the standard plastic coated grip OK?

Im just an avid DIY-er but do appreciate good tools.

I have the standard in 10" and 5". I like them and have used both a bunch recently and must say I don't see a need for the comfort grip

I signed up for an account AND joined their mailing list. I haven't received an email and the save10 (or should I say 'SAVE10') coupon won't work. Also, is the Knipex code even a coupon? It says it was applied successfully but nothing changes.

The dreaded junk folder..

Before you checkout, there should be a coupon field, type in

knipex

I did that, it said it was successfully applied, and nothing changed.

If your order is over $50, the "knipex" code won't do anything since the shipping will already be free. All prices are already marked down. You would be better off signing up and using the "save10" code.

If your order is under $50, the "knipex" code will give you free shipping.
