OK.

Went to buy a toolbox this morning.... I was in a hurry and had to get to work. Paid the guy $100 for a nice Snap on Top Box (A little older, but still in good working shape). He sold it as is, with all the tools in it. As I was in a hurry, I did not look too closely.

I put it in my truck and drove around with it all day.

Well I get home about a half hour ago and check to see what goodies I have:

Some S-O sockets in it, some MAC..... Hmmmm What is this Cigarrete packet folded under the drawer liner......

I had an idea of what it could be of course....

I opened it up: Inside was about 1/4 ounce of you know what :shocking:.

Took it to the toilet and gave it a burial at sea!!! :lol_hitti

I wonder if this was why he needed money.....

I'm not believing your story.
You probably went to local gas station and bought you a blunt.

You **** for such a good deal, but you **** even more for flushing something at least one of your friends would have appreciated as a gift. :bounce:

Oh, well I know how paranoid I get when "riding dirty", if that aint your game, no reason to risk the consequences.

I guess you all can tell who hasn't had their "fix" for a while.

Hey dude, remember that toolbox I sold you this morning? Yeah, well, I, uh...left a package in there....and I'd really like to get it back. You can keep all the tools. This was just some natural herbs that help me....yeah...I can come get it....

I have that same box top box! Mine wasn't as green as yours though.
Are you restoring the box or leaving it as is?

I would like to restore it, as well as the box it is sitting on.... Time is my biggest problem....

Ironically the guy who sold me this has an old MAC tool box (Beach made?) top and bottom and side box that he wanted for $250.00. I may go back and try to negotiate for that. Unfortunately, I flushed some leverage down the toilet :lol_hitti

He probably forgot he hid his pipe and rolling papers in the mac box, you could have had the whole combo.

Weed is a really funny joke god has played on us, you get stoned, then get paranoid and hide your ****, then you cant remember where you hid it because you were stoned and paranoid. (And maybe preoccupied by the thought of the bag of Cheetos on top of the fridge)

If you ever spend more than $100 on a 1/4oz you are getting ripped off, even if it is so good it is one hit quit.

OP:
If you know how much it was by eye, you didn't burry it at sea, you smoked it, you can admit it.

LOL, yeah thats right. Games up, your busted you closet smoker. :bounce:

I once had someone ask me why I had a postage scale in my tool box, I of course responded "It's for the precise measuring of wheel weights, I'm just not satisfied rounding to the nearest 1/4oz".

You could've at least stuck it in the classifieds section first before disposing of it.
I'd offer up a few tools in trade. Strictly for scientific research and such.... : )
BTW, when we used to do restoration work, we'd sometimes find THOUSANDS of seeds behind seats and under carpeting of cars that had accumulated over time. Of course that was back in the day when half the weight actually was seeds. Nowadays you'd have better luck finding diamonds in a bag than seeds.

I know someone here has gotten desperate and used a small deep socket as a pipe.

Just remember if you do ever use a socket as a pipe, make sure its clean first, and dont use it later on a bolt you just heated up with a torch, it will make the whole shop smell like someone just burnt a nasty roach joint.

Not that I know for real, someone told me that's what happened.

I've got the KRA59A from the mid-sixties with the drawer pulls. It's a great box. It looks very similar to this one.

Last time I got an estimate, you were getting ripped off if you paid more than $25 for a quarter. Of course, that was 15 years ago and before weed was hybridized and genetically engineered to make the user (more) retarded as quickly as possible.

It was probably in the box for about that long. Are those Marlboro Miles on the pack?
