Xmoonstompx,

Can you secure the scooter better than that?

What holds the lift to the ground besides its own weight? I would hate for you to bump into it and have a spill.
It has the down points and the vice, I just threw it on there to try it out.

It doesn't have a way to attach it to the floor, but it is super heavy and at full lift hight with nothing on it it's a ton more stable than the HF I'm used to. It is a bit more narrow than I'm used to (one of the reasons I went with the sport instead of the standard) so I just need to make sure I always strap it down.

How do you find green tools on trusty-cook's website?? They'd match my green snap ons quite well at a lower price.

Got my Trusty Cook Stubbies, they also sent me a green monster that is not available yet. It is a model 14 head on a model 7 handle, totally awesome and Thor would be proud.

I believe you have to PM them on here and order them via PM rather than a link on their website, for right now anyways. I think they said eventually they'll go up on the website, but until they do you can order them by PMing them and letting them know what you want.

No pics, but I've bought a few things in the last couple of days.

Gearwrench microdriver (p/n 85035). Seems like a nice tool. I did work in a little bit of super lube and then "break" it in with a cordless drill, because it seemed a little stiff when I first opened it up. Now it's very smooth.

Bought two new ratchets. 1/2" and 3/8" Proto premium pear head. Didn't need them, but got both for $60 plus $13 shipping. $73 total for both ratchets brand new seemed okay enough.

Also bought a terminal release tool, labeled masterforce. No clue who actually made it. The handle style makes me think Klein. USA made.

Williams 5 pc set and extra #3 phillips to go with it. First time for me with these handles, and I gotta say I really like em. This is a nice set fo the money, but quality control is a little lacking. The shaft on the #3 has a nice curve to it and the #1 and #2's shaft werent inserted into the handles straight. Not sure if it is worth the hassle of exchanging them or not.

Well, my light finally got here. I'm thoroughly disgusted with the seller though, I have never seen such an abysmal packing job in my entire life. He put the light's box inside a box close to 10 times too big to ship it, and absolutely nothing else. The box was mangled horribly, since there was nothing to support it when it got tossed around by people and machines, and I truly have no idea how the light managed to not get destroyed, as there's no padding inside the box it came in. Guess that's about as real a testament to its ruggedness as you'll ever get.

He didn't even attempt to get a box closer to a proper size, and didn't even attempt to put any newspaper, bubble wrap, plastic bags, packing peanuts, or anything inside the box along with the light.

Like I said, the worst packing job I've ever seen. So steamed, but at least the light got here and seems to be okay.

Here's what the box looked like when I got it

And when I opened it

glad the light works ok. Who's the vendor so we can avoid them? Or just a hint is good?

Are these in close out at all Lowe's locations? I looked in their site for this set but didn't see it.

My local store has them on sale right now at 169, normal price is 199. In the lowes clearance thread someone had posted a link that showed it at 79.99 but I couldn't tell in which city. I showed it to the head cashier and she price matched it at 79. When I looked up my store it said 169 as well...

Most of my Enco order came in. Only thing I'm waiting on is the bristle discs.

My enco order won't be here until the 8th, the tracking hasn't updated but my Milwaukee tools should also be here on the 8th, and according to ebay's guess, the two m12 batteries I just won should be here on the 8th as well, presuming the seller gets off his **** and ships them tomorrow.

So the 8th should be a fun day.
