Was lucky to find some nice old craftsman measuring tools lately. Very nice stuff for quick reference over the bench. I keep them and some others handy on a magnet

More pics of the sunex wrenches. Just curious on the finish. Must say tho I have a half moon wrench or two in my drawer and never needed one once. Can't even recall how I squired them.

starting to upgrade all my cheapo HF and TJ Maxx tools! It's going to be a long run...

I have that Wera and use it as my EDC in my pouch at work. It's great and it'll do the majority of my screwdriving tasks without being all that bulky.

I still have full sets of Wera Chiseldrivers and Felos.

I really like the wera handles too. Kinda makes me wish I wouldn't have gone Pratt Reed for my normal screwdrivers. I have a bit holder handle from wera (different than this one as it doesn't store the bits in the handle)

Just got my Milwaukee M12 tools. Not shown are the 2 2.0 batteries I got off eBay that also arrived today, and the 4 bay sequential charger I'm about to head to Home Depot to pick up.

4 Wraplock ratchets were in tool box I bought today. I had to Google Wraplock to see what the heck they were. Also a Bushman hacksaw and some Black Diamond files. I was just expecting a generic tool box for $15. A little wash with lacquer thinner cleaned up the overspray on box

How much did you get the 3 drills and the ratchet for if you don't mind me asking?

Here you go, Strouty, sans crotch....

Scored this on eBay for a good deal. I haven't needed them yet, but figure they will come in handy with a German car:

The Fuel items are a 3/8" Impact Wrench, 1/4" Impact Driver and a 1/2" Hammer Drill/Driver, with those three purchases I got a free 3/8" Ratchet, a free stick light and a free 4 amp hour battery, all told it cost me $547 with no tax or shipping. It was quick shipping too, I ordered it on the 3rd and it got here today. Could've been faster though, seeing as how it got here at 1:49am on the 5th, but UPS can't be bothered to deliver stuff on Saturday, so I had to wait until Monday.

The buy a tool get something free deal should still be going on until the end of this month, and I used cpomilwaukee.com and don't have any complaints, other than the fact that they used UPS whereas USPS would've gotten it to me on Saturday instead of Monday, but using UPS is fairly typical for tool shipments it seems.

Honestly, I'm more of a green guy, but Christmas is my favorite time of year, so I think green and red will go together well. Plus, I much prefer red instead of blue or yellow. Wouldn't mind Ryobi's green, but Milwaukee has been calling to me since I was a kid, so I figured what the hey.

Haven't tried anything out just yet, need to get impact sockets before I use the impact wrench, don't really have anything to drill right now, and need bits for the impact driver. I mainly got them right this instant because the deal was too good to pass up, if not for the deal I would've waited until it was closer to school time come the end of May. I got them for my automotive classes, and wrenching at home once I figure out what I'm doing.

However, with my CEL coming on and throwing a code about my throttle body, I was going to see if I can't figure out how to get that off and get it cleaned tonight, I'll use the ratchet and stick light for that, and then come thursday I'll see about using the ratchet again to replace a gasket that seems to have failed and is causing an oil leak. Just need to see what my HOA says about wrenching in the driveway, since right now my garage is too cluttered. So hopefully soon I'll get to play around with them.

The power ratchet is so nice, so much better than turning one by hand, don't think I'll ever go back to using a regular one if the power one will fit. Granted, I'm still new to all this, so maybe with time I'll figure out tricks for the regular one, or learn that power ones aren't so nice as they are at first glance, but right this second I love it, and I'll be getting the 1/4" version eventually.
