Couple cool pick-ups

Been focusing a bit on the rarer stuff lately and thought I'd post a couple things.

First, a Mechanics Tool & Forge combo set.





Second is a pre date code Cornwell wrench roll.

I am in the same boat. I have been cutting back on the normal run of the mill stuff and now I am also on the look out for older unique stuff.

Especially like the old MAC set. I can't get over how much the older MAC, Cornwell and Vanadium Tool Co. wrenches look alike.

The MAC is missing 2 wrenches, 7/16 and 3/16. I fiound that on ebay last week, very early in the morning with a very reasonable BIN so I snagged it.

I fiound that on ebay last week, very early in the morning with a very reasonable BIN so I snagged it.

Lovely when you just happen to be in the right place at the right time, isn't it. I bought some propane torches the other week in similar circumstances. Browsing Ebay in the middle of the night, and came across a fresh listing, only a few hours old, with a good buy it now price.

We "think" it's the original hook for the outside latch. Krusty says it came with the box when he got it.

Yes, and you wouldn't believe how hard they are to find with LA on them. The top rung is Screwdrivers, Punches/Chisels and Pliers. As hard as those three are to find, my biggest issue is Snips. I've only found 1 and there are 4 more spots for different sizes.............
