Hello mods! New user as you can see. I wanted to see if there was a way to get my username updated from " foxtrotlima556 " to FoxtrotLima556". The all lowercase is driving me crazy. Thought this was something I could update in my profile. Guess not!

mtwaterguy, you have all lowercase in your username, how do you feel about that? Is my username all lowercase?

As far as I can see you are stuck with that name. If you start over you will be banned for having two log on names.

Don't do that, you will get banned forever for having two accounts.

You can't start over.
If you're caught with two names... I imagine you'll be banned from both.
The owner may see no reason to grant a big favor to someone who has few posts, and many of those few are about asking for special favor.

Move on.
If this is bothering you I can't help but wonder what something serious does to you. You might not be able to survive deciding on buying snapon or Harbor Freight.
You are(or should be) a reflection of yourself when typing in to GJ....
Just some advice. You'll be known by content here....

The only answer is to contact Admin. One account will be closed and a new one started. Before you start that new account you need to be in contact with Admin or it will not work.

I think it's a good thing that members can't change their username - it can be confusing if they change it after everybody has got used to it.

I know the OP has only a few posts and it's a small change so it wouldn't be a big deal, but that involves setting a precedent where every case has to be judged on it's merits and inevitably some people are not going to be happy.

No - much better to just stick to the rule - no changes.

Again only Admin can edit or change a name. In this case it is an edit so Ryan is the only person that can answer what you ask.

Not if Ryan closes his current account and starts a new one, which is what was suggested. No one said anything about adding a second account until someone misunderstood his post and ran with it

As for deleting posts made by myself I have done so.

We all can delete our own posts, but if you have been quoted, well that is a different issue all together.
