On their site it says "special order" for the 2763-22 so I assume it will be dropped shipped from Milwaukee so you should get new stock (with 5.0s?) then...

Truthfully, I'd rather have the 2754 with the compact 2.0 batteries. For the weight increase, I don't think there's much power increase, just run time, no?
Yes the difference should only be runtime, but once a guy tested a tool I was selling with a 2.0 and putting an XC battery on it made it "sound" faster, perhaps his pack was on its last leg.
Originally I wanted the 2754 with the CPs too, but I have 2 1.5CPs and 1 2.0CP. I'm just selling the batteries, what I can get for 2 5.0s is much more than the extra $23 + selling 2 2.0s.

Ya'll are some horrible people. I'm having a really hard time resisting the urge to pick up one of those M18 tools with that 30% off coupon. Any ideas when the coupon deal expires?
The 30% off is only on the select kits which on the site are 15%, it says it expires 3/12/16 at 11:59pm. Its not an advertised deal, email was sent to those on their subscriber list, but code should work for anyone.

I was looking at 2763-22, comes out to a whopping $300, which isn't a bad price, just don't know if I can afford to spend that much, sure have a lot of other stuff I need to buy too.

There's a free bare tool thing going on at cpomilwaukee.com but I didn't see that one in the list of options for free bare tools
Rarely see deals on that kit, heck most people dont know that tool exists. Whats your plan for it? It would be great to have a cordless buffer, but its not orbital. Seen light discussion in regards to using it to polish a car but I am an weary of its use for that.
Cleaning up metal parts with rolocs and bristle discs. I've also got some experiments in mind for it on other materials... I used my Fein 18V ASCM QX18 on a wheel hub last week and it did an ok job but didn't have enough speed to open up the bristles. It maxes out around 4000 RPM.
I finally bought the 12 volt fuel hammer drill and impact driver. I was in Home Depot and the Milwaukee rep was there. He couldn't do anything on the price of the kit but he went out to his truck and grabbed another battery and gave it to me.
I am replacing a Bosch 12 volt drill , gonna give Milwaukee a shot.

I use the M12 buffer weekly and it works great. Keep in mind that it is for buffing with compound and not for wax removal.

I use the M12 roloc thing ALL THE TIME!
But, I noticed that with the 3M bristle discs, the 8800rpm is not fast enough. With 120grit bristle, I get scratch marks, where with my pneumatic die grinders, 20k rpm., I get real nice blend. Just something to keep in mind for all when working on a finished piece.
That being said, I love the M12. It stays on my bench. Use bristle and sanding discs the most. The cheap Neiko flap discs ****, but I keep buying them and using them too.

They had a deal of the day on eBay last week. The tan sweatshirt kit for $60-$65 shipped depending on the size. I picked up a 2XL in hopes that the sleeves will be long enough because I have a long torso and long arms. If not I should be able to sell it for what I paid.

Only Milwaukee tool I have is a 1/2" Hole Shooter, but it comes out only when extra-heavy duty calls. Other than that my DeWalt 1/2" cordless rules the day. No "addiction" here.

Got my sweatshirt kit today. Sleeves are nice length wise but the torso is not. I'm 6'11" so I'm sure not many have the same problem but it is kind of a pain.
I thought they already had the 4 different nailers posted. Maybe I saw them somewhere other than the Milwaukee website...

My Toolup order is still awaiting fulfillment for the 2763-22... I guess maybe they got a ton more orders than they were expecting but considering these are drop shipped there shouldn't be much they have to do to get things rolling.

Same on my 2754 order.... but many of these sites are not perfect in emailing shipping confirm and updating status on the site. I have gotten shipping confirms or see status updates on orders the day it was delivered!

I kept waiting to upgrade my NiCad dewalts because they keep getting better and coming out with upgrades constantly. A Bosch IWBH18201L (1/2" drive impact wrench 1650 in-lbs.) has been tiding me over for a while, with two 4.0Ah packs that never die. Even being already partially invested with 8.0Ah of Bosch juice, I decided to jump ship at the last moment and went on a Milwaukee binge instead, with some M12 and M18 and Fuel.
They sent me 5.0Ah packs on all the M18 stuff, even though they were detailed to come with 4.0Ah on the website, that was a nice surprise.
Addiction is right. All of a sudden it's red, everywhere I look. I think I went a little overboard. Should have stuck with Bosch, because they weren't addictive.

I've got that for my 3/8 and 1/2 fuels and they both look new when I take the boots off. Really has helped a few times when I've dropped the 3/8 too
Are gen 2 boots available for order in stores now?

I just got this combo. Bought it by accident, actually. Meant to buy the non-hammer version. Glad I made the mistake as they're the same price (or they were at CPO where I got it) and they seem to be the same weight (which was my concern). I got this kit, the m12 Fuel screwdriver and an m12 3/8 ratchet (came free with the hammer drill / impact kit) to add to my 18v (Ryobi) stuff. I'm just a homeowner who occasionally does work on his car, so my Ryobi stuff has always served me well. Lately, though, i'd been feeling like the 18v stuff (especially with the larger batteries) was just too much holding at shoulder level or higher for any long period of time. The m12 stuff seemed like a great addition - although now I see it replacing my Ryobi stuff in all aspects. So well made (the hammer drill has a metal chuck!), light, powerful and they run damn near forever!
