I know I needed them after using a HF torque wrench that stopped clicking...

I actually use this exact same HF torque wrench from my younger / dumber days for just this purpose. It's locked up, so it get's breaker bar status. Now, I'm using a digital NAPA one, that I like as it will tell me the actual torque, not just the target torque.

HF breaker bars are great, abused em for years no issues, other than some cheeter pipe scars....lol
