About a foot long. Extends about 6" when you crank it and has measurements along the part that extends. Like a little jack.

Copied from the above link for permanence.

This auction is for a Vintage Muther Mfg Co Pedal jack depressor brake tool Ford Model A. A nice early Auto item. I think this is a rare tool it is 16" long when closed, It has a ratcheting crank and extends to 28" llong. There is a scale 1" to 11" on the slide bar. This is marked Muther Mfg. Co, Boston, Mass. Patented, made in USA on the handle. . This is in nice shape. No issues as far as damage that I can see. It seems to extend with no issues.

Cool! Thanks.

Mine binds a little at 6" so I assumed it didn't go further. When I checked the link I saw it went to 11" so I cranked a little harder and sure enough it goes to 11!

Let me get this straight... You're saying you literally got to crank it up to 11? lol

Was it really loud?
