I have 4 snap on tools here :first is 8mm triple square part #ftsm8e,second is a nearly new 17mm chrome socket #swm171,next is a 3/8 drive wobble extension #fxw1,and last is a 10mm 3/8 drive 6 point impact socket #imfm10. Not to hijack the thread, but out of curiosity, what application did you buy the 8mm triple square for? I'm always curious to hear the specific applications for the less common drive sizes/styles.

VW or Audi ,fly wheels, axel bolts(certain door hinges...)I have several from working on my wifes car, not sure exactly what I used the 8mm for, but I ended up buying a 6,8 and maybe a 10 for various jobs on her cars.
