Those Pittsburg hose pliers any good
Can anyone tell me if Tekton makes these. The model # has 1 extra number compared to what I ordered. Ordered them from Sears, where supposed to be Tekton.

What brand is that?
Generic unbranded ebay cheap stuff. In fairness though it does exactly what it says on the tin, can't find anything wrong with it.OK Skin, I need a little detail on the blue handled ones, I have the red handled ones and love them.![]()
Do you think you could do a review of the KTC hose clamp pliers? Where did you get them? Ive been debating on picking those up.
Whoah, I need those hose clip pliers. I hate working around those hose clips and trying to pinch and slide them with normal needle nose pliers. Also I don't even know what those blue ones are for but I want them to open and close towards my four year old roommates and tell them the bug is "going to get them!"
Where'd you buy all that Japaneseness?
I'll probably give them a shot. I got them to go into a cart for interior work in cars so not really high torque applications. Just a little upset with Sears for advertising them as Tekton. And charging me $7.25 to ship $6 sockets. Whenever I try to pull them back up on the Sears site they are no longer there. Just a really shady experience.
Fed has it, all from Franks Tools. A version of the hose clamp pliers in locking plier form has been around for years but im a sucker for quality stuff. This is the locking plier (Taiwan coo I think)

I don't do a lot of exhaust work, but if those pliers work as expected and I used them only once, it would have been money well spent.i bought the Lisle version of those exhaust hanger pliers last year and I am kicking myself for not ponying up the $20 or so for them years ago!
