You skipped the best parts...the retro-fits. BTW...what is a belt-cut?



Basically, the cut would be about 8-12 inches up the sail panel between the backglass and quarter glass. You could also call it a sail panel cut. Thats where the factory seam is on this vehicle and most the cars on the road today.

I am not sure if I missed it or not but is that the correct Royal Plum color? It looks a little lighter but it could be the sun effect.
I think the plum color is the best one they came out with.
My Mother (yes my Mom) bought a '67 brand new in that same color and sold it before I new what it was worth.
Beautiful cars.

This color is Hawaiian Orchid. It's a GM Color from the mid 90's. I think Pontiac painted some of the Firebirds this color.

thanks for keeping this thread updated. The entire site seems to rely too much on "Free Parking" (BS) and not enough on actual garage work....as evidenced by the few, older threads in fabrication.
