SK 1/4" drive socket sets from amazon warehouse, the deep set had two 9/32" and no 1/4". No big deal, 1/8", 5/32, 1/4" and 5/8" fill-ins from HJE to satisfy my OCD.. although SK doesn't make a deep 5/8" unfortunately. Elkind t-handle hex keys on closeout from HJE as well

A 5/8 socket in 1/4 drive? What on Earth for? 9/16 is already pretty ambitious. I have a Mac set that goes to 9/16, but my old set stopped at 1/2.

90, how was the weather on Friday? I was there Thursday and cancelled my plans for Friday because it looked like rain.



There was one vendor that had to be a Snap On dealer. No markings anywhere, but he had about 6 tons used Snap On with a few Mac and Matco thrown in. He knew his product and priced accordingly.

Was this guy along the very bottom first row of the fairgrounds. Actually he may have been in the second row. Anyways if it is that's where I got the 9mm from. In the back of the tent he had some glass cases with ratchets in there?
Weather on Friday was fine. A couple rain spritz around 10am but cleared up

I have been giving my Snap On driver **** about this for years, Snap On doesn't offer the 5/8" but they do in the imported blue point line????

I have had several times where 5/8" on a 1/4" drive would be perfect, access and clearance issues.

I agree with you Strouty. I have the snap on 5/8s in sallow and used it plenty of times on certain jobs. Which they made it in 5/8 deep alao

Nothing wrong with that. I had Pittsburgh stubbies for the longest time that I just upgraded. You will rarely find a time where the amount of torque you put on a fastener with a stubby will overpower the wrench. I'd say that's a good buy.

Thought some of you may appreciate these. American made Craftsman wobble extensions found at my local Sears hardware. Even better was the fact they were on sale and only $13

Nice find! Sears ***** more than ever and it is harder to find a tool when you need it. Last time I was in there, I had to mail order the socket as their floor stuck looked like Walfart.

I think that's what the complaint is. Snappy makes a shallow but not a matching deep. I have the Blue Point, and for it getting used only occasionally, it's just fine.

No real need to show pictures but bought a new Miller Syncrowave 210 TIG and a new Hypertherm 45 Plasma cutter. Another $100 for Air dehy./filter and plugs to adapt to my 220 outlets.

It was an expensive day yesterday but at least here in Oregon we don't have a sales tax. This was a long time coming and a lot of searching to find the ones that best fit my needs. Putting them to work tomorrow.

just picked this crowfoot for the sole purpose of torquing this muzzle device. Snap on was the only one I could find that could fit in the narrow 1/4" flats on this surefire warcomp.
