best oil for ratchets

I have a 3/4 drive ratchet from craftsman USA. There is a bearing at the top for oil. What is the best oil for these ratchets?

3 in 1, MMO, Tri-Flow or any light oil (including gun oil) will work just fine. No need to over think the oil

I thought the RLL was a mixture of the red assembly lube and SuperLube teflon grease? Been awhile - maybe I'm having a senior moment.

I choose Faygo, Barq's, WM house brand and whatever I can find that is kashered.

I have one ratchet that is almost 50 years old. Probably the most used ratchet in my box. Never been lubed or taken apart for cleaning.

Some people use Marvel Mystery Oil but I'm using Tri-Flow right now. I used to use 3 in 1 and before that Birchwood Casey synthetic gun oil. Whatever I have on had at the time.

i was here during the time of merk and several of these discussions at more than one forum. mixing superlube and assembly lube would go over with merk about as well as skinny chicks.

How could I forget gluten free?

Mainly I just use Quantum Hot Sauce fishing reel oil. It has a nice fine applicator so that theoretically it shouldn't get everywhere (I still manage to make a mess). Pretty sure that the first time I do an oil change or transmission/transfer case fluid change it all gets flushed out anyway...
