Ha no not selfish, it probably came across wrong. I am just dreaming.
More like a compliment as we don't have any craftsman cabinets over here and Gerard's wall of craftsman looks awesome.
Yeah I tend to wake up and read the iPad in the middle of the night for an hour sometimes.

Now you have got me thinking. I had never planned a cabinet wall and am not sure that there is room without removing other cabinetry.
Maybe time for some beer and pondering with a measuring tape....
There are plenty of cheapish brand cabinets around but to get something worthy I'd have to look at some old Sidchome or something. Old snap on ones would be too expensive.

You got nice set up with your cabinets. I wouldn't mess with it.
That's a nice early 60's bottom with 2D chest. Those side folding shelves bad ***. I just just one and there are 18 deep and about 12 wide. If I had room bottom would be interesting. The other add is cheap home owner grade stuff. It's not even worth half of asking price.

I wish I had space you guys have. I've seen CBs place and man the stuff I could do if I had his space. I know the Craftsman wall would be ALOT bigger. I got all these ideas and no space to build them. Get frustrating at times.

Yep agreed thanks. I pondered and it won't work without butchering what I have and I don't want to do that - defeats the purpose of reusing the old kitchen cabinets that I have there.
However I now have some ideas based on filing cabinet storage that I can use elsewhere as I want to do my dad's garage and my brother just got a new place with a blank slate double garage so I'll offer to design something for him too.
A combination of file cabinets and lateral file cabinets can be had second hand relatively cheaply and once fitted and sprayed a matching colour with a nice workbench on top should look pretty good and be very practical for storage. I did find some here on GJ that look pretty cool.

Wouldn't want the all red one. I would want the gray/red one. That extra beam across between bottom door and drawer makes it 65 and under. Mine don't have that extra piece.

Oh yeah, I forgot to update that. Well talks with CDO, CEO, and CFO didn't go as planned.[emoji20]
I put packet stating plans for kitchen remodel and left them on the CDO, CEO, and CFO ( wife ) desk for review.
The CDO, didn't approve the design stating isn't there ENOUGH toolboxes in the garage. The GJ mentality of there isn't enough toolbox only applies to the garage and stops once I step foot into the main residence. I can't say much because in paragraph 18-6 paragraph M in my martial contract stated I have control of the yard, attic and garage and main residence is her control.
Besides her duties as CDO,CEO, and COF she is also Head of Cutlery arts in my household. It's been that way since before the institution of marriage was introduce and got my certificate of marriage. Before then I was trained at local restaurant and by mother who instructed me how to properly prepare and cook food. I cooked for myself for number of years and even made meals to surprise so to be wife with no ill affects. Apparently, my skills where not up to standard. I also might state that I been forbidden from using ANY of the cooking appliances in the house after a attempt to make a grill cheese sandwich which might or might not have set of a smoke alarm.
Overall, the kitchen is the wife's domain and must say she has done a superior job since taking the lead in that department. It would be foolish of me to overstep my authority in that depart just as she doesn't over step her role in my department.

Thank you for those words of compliments. It's a good idea but interferes with lights and fans. Also totes must have strong flanges to support weight of contents or not loaded with heavy items.

Looking at the picture of the right side wall shows evidence of massive amounts of wasted space. I think CB's ceiling storage has tremendous merit. Someone also sent me a CL link for some really nice horizontal 5-dr filing cabinets that would look better and be smarter storage. If those are sold, the wall of Mac sounds good.

Well, I have a Wall of Totes now. I must say I need to have the FC over for a get together. It will be a great time and people can see that not much can be done with that Wall of Totes. Although, I would like to see people opinions on a idea to improve it but don't see a way to hold any more than what's there. I could change buckets to bins. Honestly, smaller bins and more of them might help but most of the totes are full to top with stuff.

I doubt anything will the wall of totes anytime soon. I still havnt finished the sink wall or wall of craftsman. I told myself awhile back that the storage wall wasn't being rebuilt unless it fell down. So far it's held up damn well considering.
