Hey guys, wondering if anyone knows what socket set would have come in this set, I know nothing about it so any help is appreciated. I'm looking to get rid of it so if I have the sockets that would have originally gone in it I would try to make it as complete as possible. Thanks!

6-point sockets: 1/4", 9/32", 5/16", 11/32", 3/8", 7/16", 1/2"
8-point sockets: 1/4" and 5/16"
6-inch extension
3-inch extension
breaker bar with "tee" bar
sliding "tee-bar" breaker
ratchet

The ratchet may have been the older-type oval head, or later pear-head with toggle selector, or pear-head with butterfly ("flying V") selector.

I don't profess to be a Craftsman expert. Those little 1/4" drive kits came in many different iterations over the years.

Selling prices on complete kits on Ebay range anywhere from $20 up to $60 depending upon condition, state of "completeness", condition of box, and which way Donald Trump is parting his hair that day. (In other words, don't even attempt to make sense of what people are willing to pay for them or why.)

The cost of the individual components, in an attempt to "complete" an otherwise incomplete set, will generally cost more than the entire set is actually worth.

I really appreciate your thorough response, and helping me out. This was inside an old Craftsman toolbox with random sockets from the same era. I'm hoping that I can find the "missing" pieces in one of the boxes I picked it up with. Thanks again!

It does have the tee bar for the breaker bar which is hard to find!

I tend to agree with fourcycle, although it may have had a spinner handle as well?

^ I don't think those came with a spinner.... not until later when they went to the blow-mold "Permanex" box.

I could be wrong on that. As I said above: I am not a Craftsman expert.
(Who has the old catalogs? Outlawmws? lauver?)

I have three or four of those older sets, both -V- and =V= codes, and I don't think I'd be able to close the lid with a spinner handle in there. I'd have to dig one of them out and try it.
