Plvmb Pulley Puller Set 6 + Extra Stuff + American Made - $150 (Chatsworth, CA)

For you Plumb collectors.

"I used to use these pullers for both Automotive and Air Conditioning applications, but not any more. There are at least six pullers and an extra puller (without jaws) that matches the jaws on one of the boxed sets. Some pullers use jaws and some require your own "pull bolts" for your particular length and thread applications. The 3 big items on the right side of the picture, sorry, I don't know what they are really called, but we used to call them pulley grippers or wedges. Very handy for pulleys with messed up pull holes or without any pull holes at all. This stuff is all American made like Proto or Plomb. If you have been looking to buy some of these new, you know you could spend much more for just a single puller set. Take 'em away!"

^^ I have more than $150 into collecting just the full set + box of 10-ton Plvmb model 4011. I'll be shocked if this lasts the day...someone go grab it. If you restore or work on machine tools, this is basically about the best setup you can have. Macgee strikes again another killer find...

Blackhawk S-17 in KC. Maybe not a real steal, but it is a working vintage jack so it's worth something.

Metal tool cabinet/Blueprint Drawers - $100 (REDONDO BEACH, CA)

Not a bad price for both. The two drawer box looks much bigger than the typical file cabinet drawers, same width as blueprint cabinet.

"Metal cabinet with 7 drawers that have liners in 4 and dividers in large drawers. The 2 pieces stack on top of each other and the drawers have roller slides.I used it as tool storage in my garage but I think its was made for blueprints? The last pic is liner in drawer. Good shape its 43" wide,32" deep and 32" tall total. $100 obo text "

So it's official then. There is a nutjob on craigslist, not the first by any means, but whose particular hobby is re-posting other drill press listings.

Heads up, the CL drill press nut case is still on the loose. Same drill press for sale now in Chico. That drill press gets around, third city now that I have seen it posted in. Seller also has another listing in Chico for a newer Sears, $199. I recognize the same garage door behind the drill press.

Not sure if this is really a deal yet, but the seller just lowered the price from $175. Maybe it'll drop a little more until it becomes a good deal. Tulsa area.

Dave,
I picked up my 4 ton blackhawk (S4) for a little less then $100 and everything worked minus the light. I also picked up a walker just like that for around $40 but the cylinder needs rebuilding. Ran across another walker a couple of years ago at a flea market that also needed to be rebuilt and the guy was also asking $40.

I bought my Walker 4T 884 for $100. Seller said it didn't work, but it turns out that was because it had no oil. My S4 was purchased for $70. It's not in the best of shape, but it does work fine. There was another S4 listed in Tulsa for $200 recently. It's not listed anymore, so I don't know how much the buyer paid, but hopefully nowhere near that. Lots of jacks on the Tulsa CL that are way overpriced - this one included. Hopefully it comes down some more.

Glad to see this one went to one of the members. I was tempted, but decided to pass. I hardly ever use a puller.

Two big air compressors for sale in Santa Clara CA. $50 each, at least one was in working condition last they knew. They appear to be 120 gal DeVilbiss ones. Not mint condition, but hey, $50.

Wow, that's a lot of compressor for $50, even if they don't work. I'd be all over those if they were local.

Now my contribution doesn't seem like much of a deal, but I'll post it anyways.

14" (Rikon) Craftsman Bandsaw - $50 (Los Alamitos, CA)

These have two speeds and he has a bunch of new custom blades for it. It's only for $50.

"Up for sale is a used Craftsman Bandsaw. Excellent condition. I'm only selling because I needed something bigger to handle projects around my shop. It is now currently in my way and I need it gone ASAP. Will deliver for an extra $20 within 15 miles."

A fellow in Lafayette / Orinda, CA is selling four NOS 2 HP, 3450 RPM, single phase 220v Doerr motors for $25 each.

I purchased a Baldor polisher from him (used but in great shape, also $25) and wished I could get one of these too but I don't have 220v, and more to the point I don't need a 2 HP motor at the moment. But the seller is a good guy and the motors are legit. (If you get in touch tell him Larry sent you.)

I believe those Doerr motors are TENV (totally enclosed non-ventilated) judging by the wire access plate on the back (this is standard only on TENV motors -- on TEFC the fan guard is here). TENV is a much more expensive motor than standard TEFC due to a lot more insulation in them. I have one on my metal grinding disc grinder and also on dust collectors.

Please someone go get them and put them to work!

Unfortunately, he is not willing to ship the motors. I tried to buy 2, but he doesn't have the time to find boxes. Hoping that may change. Could upgrade my bandsaw, and I think my mill is a lower power one, but I haven't had a chance to look).
