If you are trying to mount something like a cabinet to a concrete wall, it will FAIL, only a matter of time.

Powder actuated fasteners, Tapcons, wedge anchors, epoxied threaded-rod studs. Each have their place in the pecking order of strength and ease of installation.

I should have given more info.
I want to secure J channel to the floor to set my metal wall siding into . I prefer not to put any kind of anchoring device in the concrete. All I need is for the J channel to stay put?

I have used construction adhesive with fairly good success, but for what you want it is VERY important the "J" channel doesn't move even a little bit. I think if it were me I would maybe do both, a really good construction adhesive and a least a few concrete anchorments. It is better to be safe than sorry.

If your metal wall siding is going to be screwed to the wall you don't really need to worry about having the "best" adhesive for the j-channel. It's not going to be carrying any kind of weight other than itself or any kind of load.

I have a wall across my shop, glued to the floor. I just used some construction adhesive rated for wood and concrete to stick the plate.
