I bought a set on ebay for $430, but the guy listed it funny and included the SAE set too. Best deal I have had in a long time, my driver was pissed, but proud all at the same time. They were still shrink wrapped and he shipped them priority mail.

I bought both the SAE and Metric ones and I have to say that the splines are not as good as I expected. I was using them on a driveshaft bolt and it slipped easily, I had to use a 6 point socket to get it loose. This was using a 5/16" size IIRC. I love them for regular things, not many tools have the reach and the ratchet mechanism is pretty stout. To be fair, the bolt head was pretty round, I wanted to try my proto wrenches on it, but they were way too big to fit in the same space.

I bought mine from Zoro on one of the 25% off sales, just a tad more than tool discounter, but I wasn't worried about the service.

You're going to love that ratchet. I've had one forever, friend of mine had an extra one or something, I don't remember, but he gave it to me one day and I fell in love with it. Its my go to 1/4" ratchet. I have a snap on 1/4" T72, a snap on long locking flex head 1/4", a harbor freight composite 1/4", and an old raised panel craftsman 1/4" and a fully polished craftsman 1/4" ratchet. They all ****! lol. Honestly I use the Facom or the HF composite. That's it. The others just take up space. I recently bought a Facom 3/8" plam control ratchet, but strangely I don't use it much. But the 1/4" is where it's at!

Grabbed a set of Mac bearing race punches. Came with a free hammer. Hammer seams nice. Love the punches so far. They have an oval shaped end on them, spread the force a bit more. And long! Won't be mashing my fingers as often!

I use those punches all the time. Great for a lot of things. Really good for bearing races and things like that too.

I put a new (used) powerhead on the boat last weekend and went to set the timing using my self powered timing light (flaming river style, but with one button) that I've had for 15 years. It's been finicky the last few times I've tried to use it...yesterday I got fed up and pitched it.

I picked up an old snap-on MT-212 and a MAC TL500E for $100. Decent price I think...and best yet, they both work

Got this extreme green Stanley claw hammer for a buck on Saturday at a yard sale. Looks to have been used once as the sticker on the hammer is slightly scratched off.
I seldom use a claw hammer but why not!

Well my new tools arrived today from Gray Tools. Wow the little wrenches feel incredible. The 3/8 reminded me of an old school snappy combowrench. Here is a pic of the new Gray to an old school snapon wrench. Now my 3/4 drive set is complete. Got the 13/16 and 7/8.

Now to get the metric set eventually. I think I'm gonna slowly get some metric grays combo wrenches the little guys feel really good. The old school 1 inch and 1 1/4 feel really nice in the hand. Gonna buy a few at a time. Cheers. Havin a beer right now. Enjoy the pics :cheers:

Got a new torque screwdriver. It's a snappy. It was for free and unservicable. It can't torque less than 9 inch pounds :lol:

My neighbor was going to throw this out last night. Told me it "didn't work" and I was welcome to it.

Carb was full of 5 year old gas and the wand tip had 2" of crud built up inside.

A few hours this morning with the ultrasonic cleaner and I had it running like a champ.

All I know is what was on the tag...6.5 hp Briggs & Stratton engine, 2500 psi. It's from around 2005. They told me they used it about 3 times and it stopped working....

I have the HF ultrasonic cleaner. It works great, you just have to run multiple cycles because it only goes for 6 minutes at a time.

More like a 4HP engine. Tag is from when everyone was playing games with numbers. Notice nothing small that Briggs has made for the last 5 years or so has a HP rating on, just displacement and max torque.

I bought this same set except with the red handles. Look at this picture Phillips on the left, flat head on the right. Every single Phillips chrome shank looked all jacked up, and every single flat head was perfect. I ordered them directly from the Mactools website, brand new they arrived like this. At the same time I also ordered a 8 piece mini electronic screwdriver set, made in Taiwan. Those minis every Phillips shank was installed at a slight crooked angle in relation to the handle, and every flat head was perfect. I was not having any of this, sent them back for a full refund. Dealing with their customer service and return process was AWFUL to say the least, it took over two months to get my money back. I'll never buy a single tool from Mac ever again. I hope your set is perfect for the amount the charge.
