Just doing a quick search, there was an older USA set on eBay, and a couple of newer sets that were NOT USA. My guess would be the newer sets would be imported (Matco not being one to ever go the other way).
The markings on the non-USA were of a Z with different lines, in the same style as Apex/Gearwrench manufacturing marks.
Why in the hell would you pay anywhere near $200 for a set of flares?![]()
Sadly Matco Flare and High Performance (non ratcheting) wrenches are imported from China.
"Made to Matco Specifications"
The only wrenches they sell that are still USA made are the Combos.
Matco is becoming the expensive version of Craftsman.
You'd be much better off to buy a used Snap On set on eBay.
