Found this 8" c clamp for $10 at ocean state job lot. It's like a big lots type store with all cheap stuff, but mine often has USA made Grayvik hammers and pry bars, husky USA screwdrivers, and some other stuff. I also buy rain guard widshield wipers for $5 each, 12x12 tarps for $10, paint brushes for $1, etc. Its a nice place to pick up the cheap **** you don't mind throwing away.

Job lot's real name is Ocean State Railroad Salvage CO. They buy Salvage, overstock, and similar. Back in the day they were much more varied, but since opening lots of retail stores they went with a lot of chine made stuff to fill shelves and they only buy large Salvage/overstock lots now. If you live near one you may remember Building 19 and Spags. Same idea.

Ahhh....the old Building 19 days...Miss that Good stuff cheap place.
Nowadays, you have to go to Mardens in Maine, or Ollies in Ct, or NY to find the some
decent surplus bargains!

Ocean State JL does occasionally have "good stuff cheap" tools....how about generators, and even log splitters, not too long ago!

Spags!! I miss that place. "No bags at spags". Half the fun was scavenging the store to find a box to hold the **** you want to buy. Lol.

I wouldn't touch either of those....Champion brand generators may be a us company but all their stuff at the big box stores and job lot is China made junk....if you want anything of quality from that company its near impossible to find.
