I've been on the search for an older non PRC origin press for a while. I almost jumped on a Red Arrow press a few months ago but it was a beast at 55T and feedback here was less than stellar on the brand so I passed.

One of interest recently popped up on local CL. It's an OTC 25 ton model 1833. I understand that OTC is a manufacturer for a number of Snap-on tools so must be semi reputable.

Supposedly it works as it should and from the pics is not totally beat. I would disassemble, refresh, etc so I'm not worried about faded paint.

Price is $200 and the guy is going to drive 30 minutes to meet me half way. Seems like a good deal, but wondering if there are any major issues to look out for (I.e. Hydraulic seals no longer available so if it leaks then it's fucked, etc.).

That is a steal and a half for that press. OTC tools are crazy expensive new. They sell mostly high grade specialty and shop tools. They make all the tools for Rotunda, the specialty tools used in Ford dealerships.

Looks like that specific press sells for $2,500 new on Amazon. For $200 I would go buy it myself!
