Thinking about buying this tonight. It almost looks like I'd be getting two 18", but one is 18-S and one is 18-C. Does anyone know the difference? Thanks!

18-S will have a straight end and 18-C will have a slightly curved end. So if you lay the end of the 18-S on something then the handle will be on the same plane as the tip, but if you lay the end of the 18-C on something then the handle will be above the tip because of the curve.

I'm still new to all this, so I'm not sure as to the pros/cons of the two when being compared to each other, but I figure having more tools can't be a bad thing.

IIRC I have an 18" that is curved. Great tool, beat it half to death. Only thing is, I rarely use it now that I have a 36"

Really? I was looking around this site last week and saw this Mayhew deal plus many other really good deals. Another member actually recommended the site, but after reading those reviews... Are those on that site just the one star reviews on that site or all reviews ever for ntx?

The price they have on the set is twice what Amazon has it for, so its not a deal at all.

Not exactly a rip off, but pretty shifty.

If you look at any review site, they all have 1 star reviews. I just linked the first one that google showed. I feel like it is hit or miss with NTX tools. Some people say they receive their items fine, but more so otherwise. Just be careful. It seems like they lure you in with good deals they cant back up.

I've ordered more than a few times from NTX without any issues. I believe they recently changed owners within the last year or so. I also think they are a dropship storefront that uses ISN & others to fulfill their orders.
As with any other place, you need to shop around for the best deal but, they've had some great gearwrench buy one get one specials over the past year.

thats what im looking at. the gearwrench double box end deal they have going on. cheapest i have found.
