After checking out this site for a while I just had to join.
A special thanks to Alexbn921 and his thread http://www.garagejournal.com/forum/showthread.php?p=3990517 This thread was a great source of information during my process.

I found this old thing on Kijiji for $80cad. It needed a new motor as the old was 3450rpm. Luckily a friend of mine had a 1725rpm laying around for a clean trade, so that was easy on the wallet. I also bought a Llambrich CYX-13 as the old chuck was fairly abused. Thanks to the precision of Llambrich's product the run out after restoration is .002" also this chuck is the only aftermarket option I could find with a locking collar. Over all I'm extremely impressed with this old girl!

I like how the bottom of the motor and the underside of the table look together. Even though they aren't the same manufacture.

Does anybody know where I can buy a delta #882 retirement light for this?

They're always for sale, but the OWWM guys think they're made of gold and have driven up the prices almost as high as GJ guys have driven up vise prices.

PM me with an offer.

Looks great! I've been working on a DP restoration myself on and off for a couple months now.
